I don’t know if it’s because it’s a different airport, company, or country, but in Spain (I won’t name the company), you have to wait inside the area marked by a white line until the anti-collision lights and engines are turned off. Before opening the cargo door, the ramp coordinator has to do the walkaround and give the all-clear before the ramp agents open the door (in case there is any damage, as anything discovered 15 minutes after arrival is attributed to the destination airport, not the origin and/or during the flight). Then, the procedure continues. The ramp coordinator speaks with the senior cabin crew and the captain to see if they need to change the chemical toilet water, potable water, fuel, catering, load sheet, and the LIR, dangerous goods, etc. After that, pushback happens, and it’s on to the next plane.
