  • FTX has been compromised, delete the app immediately as it may be pushing malware.
Assume all funds are gone until further notice, and assume hackers have your KYC documents. Do a fraud alert ASAP so they cannot take loans out in your name.

Do not trade on centralized exchanges. Use a decentralized exchange where your funds are stored in your own wallet. I would recommend GMX, since they are a very big player and I use them all the time.
Use my referral code to sign up for fee discounts on GMX: app.gmx.io/#/trade/?ref=Chimp

I still have the FTX APP on the main screen of my phone. I can only delete the shortcut, but the installed file should still be there? I can't find these and therefore can't delete them, what should I do?

Hey I have an iphone and updated the app recently through the app, before I got the news…
but only used it to track, no account there luckily!
Do I also have to do a factory reset, could the trojans also infiltrate other apps on my iphone like banking?
    Cheers!

Is the blockfolio app to track our wallet is safe?
I have set no API or link anything just tracking my holding

I don't know. I think it's unlikely but be very careful and maybe consider deleting it until we know for sure. Blockfolio is owned by FTX.

FTX has been hacked, confirmed by an FTX telegram admin, so if you have the app on your phone, consider removing it as soon as possible. There was a malicious update pushed out, so if you have an Android you might want to treat the phone as compromised. IOS should be fine.
Get a fraud alert done too, they might sell your details online if you completed KYC.
This video may have incorrect information, but this is what I know right now. Stay safe.
