Who rates thumbs down? Chase is amazing! I honestly learn so much every time he posts up a blog or video. What I love is that he doesn't put out content just for the sake of filling up his page. Everything is informative and he's just great to listen to. By the way.. am I the only one that agrees with Chase about feeling award in front of the camera?
I f&cking loved it from start to finish. "Your network is your net worth" - I've never heard Ferriss say that before. Gold. And get a load of you youngsters!
Thanks Chase & Ferriss! Love your thoughts on the future of printed books going toward 'pieces of art', and how photographers are uniquely positioned for making them. Two of my favorite motivational speakers.
Really good advice from Tim...CJ asks "Where does your energy come from?" TF: "Your network is your net worth...[being around passionate people makes you more excited about your own activities] Practical pessimism of asking "what's the worst case scenario? How can I prevent it from happening? What can I do to recover if I try this and it DOES happen?"
One of the best #cjlive episodes without a doubt. Tim Ferris seems like such an amazing guy. I was glued to my screen and listening very carefully for two hours straight. Great discussion. Very inspiring too. Thanks :)
damn Chase, you really know how to shoot great video... love this. LOL and of course, Tim too. Biggest takeaway so far... "there will be a new box of crayons every week, but principles don't change, focus on the principles". Just want you to know that the high production value of this actually makes me more engrossed in the content. I absorbed you & Tim like a sponge...
Would be nice to see some works of Tim Ferris while we are listening the interview. Also why not making a video of the favorite gears of him? Particularities/photo personality... In a 2 hours long video.. would be nice to know where is the action part like from 1:19 Very interesting videos though! being photographer is very exciting.
21:15 This is exactly what most execs in the movie/music industry don't understand. The people who download movies and music for free aren't going to buy the DVD or album in the first place. They're just downloading it because they don't have to pay a price which would otherwise turn them off from purchasing the product.
good video. i like their shirts, i never see shirts like those despite the fact that they look like they should be common place. their probably super expensive.
the last 40 minutes of this video are very valuable

Good to see the smooth on shoot production flow between you and your assistant Scott. Keep up the good work Scott!
How can someone possibly dislike this awesome video? Keep up the great work, Chase!

Love the "advanced" portion of the shoot, Chase your amazing.
Tim Ferriss is always a win.
YES! Isn't he! :)
It was informative to see professionals work in this way and learn from each other.
this is amazing material! This is such quality work that I wouldn't expect this of America.
Just watched this. Love this video Chase & Tim!!
Super great everyone! Love how your crew was treated with respect and you taught a great class.
You're absolutely right! And I heard that around 60% of the photos from that book were taken by him, with the camera he mentions in the interview!
Tim did an AMAZING job with interacting with Candice. Having a model being comfortable is key. One day Chase will interview me. ;)
Thank you!

One more thing- I'd love to see a post production video- how you edit and use Aperture, Photoshop- whatever. Great, great job!
Valuable insights.
Really cool beat and use of a jazz standard for a sample. Who made it? Is it downloadable or was it simply made for this video?
Great job chase, awesome :)
How come so many of these videos are in black and white?

Do you plan on adding English subtitle to this video?
