    As someone who has become pretty well off financially- I STILL don’t live like that in NYC, not because I can’t, but I have something in me that inherently will not allow me to literally waste money. I cook at home every day, and honestly, it’s better. It’s healthier & you don’t have to deal with people & trains, taxis etc. And it’s actually fun. There is no coffee worth $6. There is no beer worth $10. There is no dingy “room” in NYC that’s worth paying for the “atmosphere”. It’s all a bunch nonsense.

    So, maybe let him be until he grows and learns life lessons (For me, going cafes over 3times a day is too much😅)since it’s his life and I’m actually pretty much motivated by watching his videos cause he earns it, by not relying on his parents (I assume)even sometimes it’s totally different perspective he has since he’s a gen-Z😅❤

However, I am just thinking that not everyone really HAS to save money - I mean, if this guy is making, let's say 20K a month and spends 5K between rent and groceries, he probably doesn't have the need to cut costs that much. With certain income tresholds, I guess they can easily spend a lot and still save a lot. Unfortunately, not in my case though.

    Hey Graham, I just had an Idea, Why don't you make a "What I spend in a week as a TH-camr in Las Vegas" video !!!!! ... Going to cheap places to eat out, investing money, washing clothes during off-peak electrical hours, etc etc etc

    Actually meal prep gonna make cooking much faster, usually I just stir fry or cook soup, put things I already chop and add some seasoning and voila its done :)

    If you don’t want to go grocery shopping and it’s too tedious and time consuming just get a subscription and then shipped to your door. It’s substantially cheaper than eating out, healthy and easy. With coffee, there are so many good machines out there that’s it’s absurd to not invest in one and make your life easier and cheaper

  • @darkwoodmovies
    @darkwoodmovies 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I wouldn't go out for coffee or eating every day, but NYC is HELLA expensive. You can easily rack up a $1k bill per week on just having fun with friends. The food in his videos is actually really cheap. If you go to any sit-down place, expect $50 on the low end and upwards of $200 for a nicer restaurant.
