Either Graham's really short or it's incredibly ironic that a tiny home company has a freakin' GIANT working for them... 😲

Trailer park homes without the stigma of living in a trailer park.
Trailer park homes for much more money.
No difference.......same thing.......except without the wheels.......
Thanks for sharing FET and AMS89H. 💯
I am so bullish right now
lets PUMP this to the sky guys!!
this is a life changing project
It will soon all over the news
really good project
People forget about "modular homes," back in the 80's. Those houses were prefab houses brought in on flatbed trucks and assembled with a crane but used modern materials, just like a modern house. This company is basically making a Rv without the wheels or a pull behind camper. I think having the ability to add sections is what will make it attractive to people.
Trailers and trailer parks - the original tiny homes people made fun of and still do to this day. Calling them tiny homes was just a way to give them a better look. Honestly though these things have been around for decades but people are either too young to know or don't look outside the socials. They don't realize they are just falling for marketing and fake hype driven by nonsense youtube/tiktok algos.
it’s rebranding for younger people who don’t want to say they live in a trailer park
@@corail53 rv and trailers now cost too much unfortunately.
This was my comment before reading yours lol my house was like your saying flatbed crane house was built pretty quickly and well
@@colexxiii Definitely agree. Just some tricky marketing to brand this as the hip alternative to the trailer park.
Building a small house which can be bult in one hour is one thing. Providing the access to water for plumbing and sewage and not to mention hooking up to the electrical grid is another thing all together.
Nvm that you need LAND to place your "affordable tiny home"
Absolutely!
You've a firm grasp of the obvious.
Hooking up to the electrical grid is extremely easy I can do it just by throwing a wire over a power line 🤫 lol
So your new tiny house will be prison then.
Let's buy one together, Graham!

I take dumps too massive for that smaller amount of displaced water. There's a reason why the"efficiant " toilets get massive complaints. People have to flush several more times than on a normal toilet. Further more, the toilet actually needs a specific about t water to flush.

100% wth
Lmao right like I thought it was gonna be his actual home 😅
You will live in the pod.
And you will be happy.
Exactly what I thought of.
Many people would be perfectly happy and comfortable with a tiny house.
The big hangup I have found is that many townships have zoning restrictions that essentially prohibit a small house from even being built! They want large lots with huge frontage and have minimum square footage requirements that make a small house impossible to build in their community. Why would they do this? You ask. The answer is they want high property tax values! I’m one of those rare/ odd people who thinks that houses should be for people to live in! Instead of being something more like a luxury investment that may or may not be affordable to keep up over the years.
I would be happy. Not all of us are such high maintenance princesses.
@@scottbrown7415 I'm just really desperate to get out of throwing my money away every month renting an apartment, and am looking for something that will allow me to put these monthly payments i'm already towards something I actually own that still has at least some value in the future. Tiny homes are not my ideal living environment, but i'm willing to sacrifice a bit of comfort for my financial goals.
In a natural disaster I would like to see them sent to help.
Click bait tittle. No look into Elon Musks tiny home :(
Who is Elon Musk?
i dont know in USA but 50.000 in Europe is a fortune. For 80.000 you can geta a beautiful house. Much bigger, with electricity, plumbing and sewage, a kitchen already set up... In europe this would have sense for no more than 10.000
50 K here will get you a mobile home. Our small homes are 1200 square feet. Most homes are over 1500 square feet! The largest are between 2000 and 3000 square feet. You really need to look at realestate in America! Pricing on homes are according to where they are and how much of a demand for them exist.
Its a caravan with out wheels
I agree this price is absurd, I may be moving to Europe if the housing prices don’t drop soon.
What countries are those?
For £80k, in the UK, you're absolutely not getting a beautiful house. You'll get a dilapidated terrace in a dreadful inner city area.
What I’ve learned from this video is that Graham is 2’8.
Even shoe lifts wouldn't help this guy.
Honestly it sucks things are so expensive these days but in times where solutions are needed this isn’t a bad idea. Hopefully many young people can buy their homes and focus on saving up while not being in huge debt.
You know what also sucks? vacuum cleaners
@@probably9380 You know what else sucks? The drain of a bathtub.
Mosquitoes suck too
You would need to suck your way to earning a lot of money in this economy
You know how much a Home Depot shed cost on sale of about the same size!? About $3000!
Would you rather pay $3000 or $50,000?!
The idea sounds good but notice he never talks about zoning regulations, purchasing land, hiring contractors to do customizations and set up power and plumbing and what not. So out here in California this definitely wouldn't be worth it.
Also not spoken ... are DELIVERIES ... orders, yeah plenty ... Deliveries ... NONE ! maybe one, elon's
I think this is a slap in your face idea from a typical billionaire.
Former Californian: I think the main problem in CA is that California now sucks, thanks to years of mis-government. But at least they will let you live in a tent under a bridge if you can’t afford their ordained and “progressive” mode of living.
This concept has been tried before in the Soviet Union. They were making the walls in a factory, then they shipped them to the construction site and assembled the apartment building. That's the reason behind soviet iconic aesthetics
In most of Europe, not only in Soviet Union, My house was built of ready-made rooms( kitchen, bathrooms)

Clickbait warning! This is not a tour of Elon Musk's home. Elon is not even in this video!
You miss the point that the homes are modular and Elon bought the prototype so his home looks exactly the same as the model they looked at.
@@PterodactylFactylA lot of people own a lot of things, you could say this about anything Elon, or anyone else learns.

But at the beginning of the video he is telling about him buying it.
When you find out that this have absolutely NOTHING to do with ELON MUSK, nothing but CLICKBAIT ....
If you pay attention they make a standardized house and Elon bought that standardized house
Am i tripping or is this guy the worlds tallest dwarf?
I’m interested in if they will eventually make much larger homes made up of several boxes put together. It would still allow for cheap non-wide load shipping.

I’m guessing in 10 years, some agent is going to be telling their client “nooo that’s one of those tech start up houses, things a death trap and banks won’t loan on them”
Elon wants to live in a mansion and let plebeians live in a cookie cutter box. This is the future and is already happening in US. Dr Horton is building cookie cutter small homes. What happened to the nice big McMansions and mansions of the past???
The way Australia is going nearly everyone will be needing these
Trailer home is cheaper, bigger and already legal to install.
The editing is pure comedy. They shifted 20 times from talking with no background noise to classy cute music whenever he's talking to the founder lmaooo
They used a hobbit to show the tiny homes so they don't seem that bad. Gandalf walking around with him on the floor ruined that illusion.

I think it's important to stick to stocks that are immune to economic policies. AI stocks that have the potential to power and transform future technologies. It seems AI is the trajectory most companies are taking, including even established FAANG companies. Maybe there are other recommendations?
I bought into NVIDIA around September last year because my financial advisor recommended it to me. She said the company is selling shovels in a gold rush. It accounted for almost 80% of my market return this year.

Why he wanted it? To prepare for small living quarters on Mars.
Laundry, Sink, Faucet, Bathroom, Bed, TV, I'm 100% sold.
The cliffhanger was grand. Love it! I think this concept is much needed and if they could gain market share it would be nice to see more developments of tiny, affordable living spaces. Hopefully the farce of an American dream doesn't crush this and people with $50,000 for housing stop looking for $300,000 housing.
Land prices are ridiculous in northern Arizona! But even still that price plus a boxable would be hundreds of thousands of dollars cheaper.
Who can ever afford to invest in such a risky asset as basic housing in America?
Dont think 30 yr mortgages are avail for land purchases.
@@EDV8ZR1 uneducated comment
I don't think this is getting crushed anything soon with the wait list as big as it is. My concern is that big companies/investors basically buy out most the marketshare and just rent them out which puts us, more or less, back at square one.
1:32 5’11 vs 6’0
Haha true
I made a detailed review about that why there are red flags with Boxabl. Be careful!
There is definitely something fishy going on with that company!
Like, why have none of them been delivered? Show us a video of people using them.
Yea it’s a great idea but where is the execution? Kinda weird.
How sturdy & how noisy to the elements would these be?? More like a comfortable Cell than a house.
Why don't Americans have a shower with a watering can? It's not convenient enough, fixed in the wall does not allow intimate areas to be washed?

Glad you enjoyed it!

How much would the installation of services and taxes add to the overall costs?
Very cool concept. Maybe be on the waitlist for one of these one day.
This takes affordable housing to a new level dude huge waiting list but I would definitely get one in the future it will probably take years on the list
just wait til blackrock buys it, it will cost a 500,000 in no time.

This video is about as honest as the thumbnail.
Anyone who believes this crap needs to give me their money.
So it's a $50,000 mobile home with polished marketing?
Graham out here interviewing all the billionaires...haha...love it!
You can tell from Graham’s eyes he can’t believe anyone would choose to live in one of these 💀
Love that you're doing these types of videos. Keep it up Graham!
Really made it look like you were with Elon in that thumbnail 😂
How obstructionary are planning and zoning requirements?
If they can't give you a number beyond 'countless times' it's because they don't know.
I thought the same thing.
Basically they’re saying “if you can, please let us know”
How many times are you going to move 😂 especially when you have a bed, sofa and other furnishing. Plus the idea is more that if becomes a permanent home, not a mobile one. As the explains it folds so that they can ship it cheaply to you on a flatbed truck. When you can afford to buy another one or have children you erect it next to it and put in a door between them
Terrific interviews. I’ve been following these guys and to peek inside the facility is SO cool. Thanks!
There is a company in florida doing the same thig not sure who was first
Yea they sent some to Hati after Hurricane
I remember Sean Penn was Talking about them
That company is in Miami
When he was asked how many times can it be folded and unfolded and was it tested, he was at a loss for words, his answer was empty, he said it was tested " countless times" in other words, it wasn't tested, because we can't count pretty high, so how many times was it tested? 100 times? 1000, 10,000, 100,000, or 1,000,000 ? I can keep going.
Is this home fully furnished???
Looks like Kevin came through with the follow-up! Exposed.
Graham definitely got paid from boxable to promote this fraud just like FTX. Graham is all about his money and doesn't care even if his viewers get scamed
I'm still touring my 50,000 tiny homes.
Honestly I would just rent an apartment instead of buying a tiny home
Totally agree. I was on my way to buy a blanket but now I think I will just burn some cash to stay warm.

Modular prefab homes are pretty cool, but it's an industry that has struggled to get off the ground for decades. The expensive part of homes is land, not the building.
My three favorite channels: Graham Stephan, Stock Brotha, & Andrei Jikh. Make my week complete!
I think that’s such a cool idea, if they could make a 30k model with less things attached that would be pretty neat
Why would you want it anymore crappier?
@@RealGalaxyGamers yeah i think the price is fine as is,anyone making minimum wage could afford this with payments over 10 years
it could be 400-700$ a month
Not sure if we can get this in the US, but in Japan, you have Toyota Housing Corp, which makes prefab modular rooms that one can combine into a custom house.
you still need to buy the land or have a big backyard
I love this innovation/pivot. Traditional manufactured homes have the yuck factor and difficult logistics. Tiny homes gained popularity, but they’re largely diy. This is quality, easy logistics, efficiency and cost savings that pass on to the customer.
This is literally a folding box. It has the least appealing look of all housing out there aka major yuck factor. Tiny homes gained popularity because of the youtube algorithm hitting the diy keywords which do well and then people thought it was quaint. The only people building and buying them are doing so for renting out on airbnb.
Actually China already start doing these tiny house, customize fast-build-transforming-container-house a few years ago, I first heard of it was in 2020, they probably start the business way longer then this.
What good is innovation if the waiting list is many years long?
apparently you have never looked at manufactured homes made in europe, like Switzerland or Germany. same basic principle but full size houses and buildings, even commercial or mixed use multi story buildings. This is not really that exciting by itself. The interesting piece is that assembly on site is quite fast for a tiny home. obviously you can't fold up a real building.
@@danah358 ask tesla
Plot twist Elon lives underneath in a nuclear missile silo decked out to the nines.
There are plenty of prefab and modular, factory built homes available from companies that are producing homes and can tell you when they will deliver. Boxabl is none of those things.
House might be 50k, but tax, shipping, purchase of land, building permits for your foundation plus hookups, contractors, materials for said foundation/hookups, etc probably brings your actual total to 100k - 150k minimum in a cheap location.
Yep that's what I said too. You can buy an actual full size house for the same price in half the US. This is basically a joke. 100k for a 200 sq ft shack that's been marketed as cool and cost effective when it's actually expensive as hell and horrible unless you have no life and don't intend on doing anything or having a family ever.
Is still less than a house
That is a cool idea, but I would have two questions. First, how does this compare with traditional mobile ( manufactured ) homes?? Two: Where can you put these?? You need land or a space to put them and hook them up to utilities and infrastructure.
So yeah, you would have to have a piece of land to put these on. Dont know if you would be allowed to put these in a mobile home lot.

Canada and Quebec need to buy a lot of those for the affordable housing problem!
The law here in Canada does not allow tiny houses, only in some remote places, I already investigated it. In Quebec not because it devalues already established houses.
What about the land you going to put it in ?
Elon is not even in this video and he has a prototype..
Here's a bright idea: Put a bunch of these houses together to build high rises or high density complexs. Single-family housing shouldn't be the ONLY option available
Watch Boxabl videos on TH-cam, they cover that.
Glad to see more competition in such a tough market. This makes it possible for an individual or a couple to buy a plot of land and one of these houses for around 100k (depending on where you live) compared to the near 400k average home price.
50k for land? Where in the world are you that it would be that cheap? Houses are not the expensive part - land is. You are also forgetting to factor in that you will need zoning, you will need utility hook up's, septic etc. By the time you are done with it all you will be closer to 150k in the box. What I hate about this video is that graham is using Elon to drive marketing - smart on him but too many people blindly follow that guy - who by the way has huge mansions where his kids stay and he is the richest guy in the world so it doesn't matter what he does.

100k would get you aprox 400 square feet of living space considering you still have to pay to have a foundation built, engineering, permits, septics/sewer. The overhead to build a home makes it impractical to only throw a 400 sqft box on all that prep work
