I think it's awesome how your helping everyone out on this Tide... The only advice I would give to anyone trying to set this up is take a real 30 minutes and learn how the controller manager (also the controller editor N.I. includes it in all of their releases) works in traktor knowing how to use that will help you big time! You really can customize the XDJ-RX and any controller with midi capabilities to do anything you want in traktor. I'm rockin traktor with my maschine mk2 and the XDJ-RX.
I have seen there has been updates to the MIDI mapping files and the drivers on the PIONEER website, I haven't tried this again yet in about another year, I will do when I get home from working away. I certainly would love to be able to use TRAKTOR with it. I just couldn't get the headphones and cueing volumes working apart from that the rest worked ok

I was able to successfully downloaded and installed the TSI file as you did on your tutorial. I also followed your instructions, however, my RX does not respond to traktor. One thing that I noticed is that if I load a track and press play through traktor, the song plays and I am able to get sound from my setup

the volume only works on the left side for both decks how do I make it go to separate ones. kinda hard to mix when all the volume is coming out of one channel
+Brain Case go to output routing and at the top change the mixing mode to external then it is will give you sound outputs for each traktor deck look at the pic traktor second problem is the latency of the buffer needs increased thats why the sound is cutting out look at the pick traktor1 and increase the buffer size

Do you know if there's a way around this or is it my worst fear, that this is because it's a newer version of Traktor and the TSI won't work for it? Thanks for the video and any help.

Thanks for sharing this too! I guess you get more of a benefit working with the RX in Redbox than Traktor or maybe the user further mapping the knobs, etc. But that's to be expected.

i don't really see the point in using traktor when rekorbox works pretty much the same as it when using link , it is good as an external mixer using an a10 and 1210s so you have the record box usbs and vinyl time code traktor all in the one package which i really like , but as a stand a lone for trakor i can't get it to work iv followed this vid and the instructions on the site , i use a mac pro and never had a problem before so its not a big issue but would be nice to see it working stand alone with it .
Hey, DJ Tide. Thanks for the video, I used this weekend Traktor as external and internal mixer but the pitch is not correct and exact. I mean when I push or pull the pitch of 1% the BPM is going to more or less 10 by 10. For exemple if the pitch is 120 BPM and I want to put it at 120.04 I can not it jumps directly to 120.10 or 120.08. Even if I go to traktor/transport/tempo/set tempo range to 2% it does not work....still the same! Even on the RX if I put it at 6%. Any idea to fix it? Thanks a lot! Btw impossible to have the wave on the RX screen + track name? ;)

You can set how you want it to behave, just like in any regular mixer

+niels waem The XDJ-RX only offers 1 L/R output pair, there is no second output for headphone monitoring. You can't cue in headphones.

press play, then press sync, unpress sync, and press cue. beat is locked at the correct tempo

everything works apart from headphone cueing - the headphones just play what is coming out of the main channel and thats it
