Ready......Steady.......eeeeeeek!
Hahahahhaha
I mentally wrote that as,
"Ready;
steady;
--SMEEP"
😂👍
Ready. Steady. EAT!!!
🥺🥺🥺🥰🥰🥰
Pika uses STEAL.
ITS SUPER EFFECTIVE!😂
Pika-Eeek uses Thief. Super Effective. Opponent is confused.
An Arabic or blk Pika
@@elog2005🤦🏻♂️
You spelled Nika wrong. Only Nika uses Steal.
its not stealing, its looting)))
Awwww, this is so charming. The cheeky music, the narrative of the lazy neighbor, the writing, Attenborough's voice--everything is perfect. What a delight.
🙄
In the human world they would be called stockholders.
Look at the view that piker has from his doorstep. It's amazing!
0:58 "ready, steady, E!"
-David Attenborough and pika, 2024
He's turning 98 next month. Let's hope this isn't his last E.
I love their "Eeek"!
I can die from the cuteness radiating from their "eeks" 😅
Me too! So adorable!
They're really cute
This type of documentaries are so well filmed it almost feels like these animals are paid actors
They are. This never happened. Fake news.
David Attenborough's narration makes the tiniest rodents documentary so amusing...
Pikas are not rodents, they are part of the rabbit and hare family which are lagomorphs.
@@urielhernandez3741 Props for knowing and sharing that!
(But Sir Dave DOES make tiny-rodents-documentaries wonderfully amusing as well!)
@@Muryxkitteh He can narrate a documentary about paint drying and somehow make it interesting. To me the best narrator.
@@urielhernandez3741 And he turns an amazing, still hardworking, 98 years old in about two weeks!
(I hope to still be here when he celebrates his 150th)
He has a soothing voice
Nice segment but, could have used at least a Thunderbolt
My asssssssssss
Pikachu is based on a squirrel tho.
@@Typecast-L actually pikachu is based on a mouse
Grow up mate. Everyone knows you start off with quick attack
Can we leave fiction aside and enjoy the reality
How cute can you be?
Pika: YES❤
It's like they're carrying a small bouquet in their mouth. ❤💐
They can be forgiven for their cuteness.
@@Mdm_1401 And ARE they cute???
@@Mdm_1401 Then it's time for REVENGE (starts up pet chainsaw "Betsy")
This being free is really a blessing, considering the hardworking camera crew, musicians and GOAT narrator.
Edit : editors too
Makes you think, is it actually real if it's free?
Woah. They build a haystack, dry it in the sun for winter, and include preserving herbs. Thata pretty next level for a rodent.
And natural selection said for some of them to spend their energy running from their neighbors rather than gathering themselves.
Probably a product of times when resources were less abundant.
They're not rodents. They're lagomorphs, like rabbits.
@@englishatheartmost people still think rabbits are rodents lol
@@anthonya04 Eh, they think wrong. 😛
@@englishatheart big teef go brrrrrr
They must have great cardio to do all that running up and down cliffs thousands of times.
And at that oxygen-starved elevation!
Pika-Chu
omg i never thought about that
@@misanthropicsophistyeah Pikachu was based on this animal.
Pika-Chew!
I hate Pikachu. Stupid yellow mouse.
@@bentucky4324 Nope, Pikachu was based on a squirrel
Despite their appearance, pikas are not rodents. They belong to the order Lagomorpha, together with rabbits and hares.
They did look a bit like bunnies the way they ran. I thought bunnies were rodents though.
they belong in jail , that's where they belong i tell ya
@@cutecats532if I’m not mistaken hares are in a separate “division” because their teeth formula is different from bunnies
@@gingerhoof2157 I looked it up just to be sure but no hares ARE lagomorphs, just like rabbits. They might have some differences but they still both belong in that catagory. Maybe you were thinking about a lower classification?
@@Xeyal1001 maybe I just forgot that rabbits are in there too…it’s been a long time
They are so cute! While one is working, the other is resting, and then stealing supplies from the worker. This even outraged me. Call the police! 😂
You on the phone: "SQUEEK! Squeek-squeek-squeekitty squeeeeeeek"
On the other end: "Thank you for alerting us, ma'am; we'll get right on it!"
@@Muryxkitteh The uk police will be more likely to arrest the victim🤣🤣🤣
@@chrisburch9091 Ouch--troo dat.
Could be worse.
Could be AMERICAN police*. (Shudders)
*As an American, I, sadly, approve this message
Pika-Pika!
Gotta Catch Them All 😂.
2:44 The moment a porch pirate looks into the Ring camera. 😂
😂😂
SQUEAK! 😲😳
The criminal underclass. They're everywhere! 🙂
Pika's locomotion is sheer beauty. At a glance, unsteady & uncomfortable substrates are full of obstacles for an animal racing against time, but he takes no notice of it. A leap over a gap is of some elegance for a small creature with proportionately short limbs! Also, a nice camera work, capturing a treasure trove. As if it was a scene in Indiana Jones!
Superbly said!
Sometimes I envy the wildlife photographers, they get to see this cute ball of foofiness firsthand
like 3 miles away holding a telescopic lens for 1 month during every possible weather condition
@@kaviyaneskandari2316 personally, I think that's a worthwhile trade-off for a good look at these little critters.
The pikas probably cross paths stealing from each other
*Vanya and Five meme
The original porch pirate😮
The little squeaks are tooo darn cute i cant stand it
Cute Thief Story 😂😂
Wow lil guy stole some plants and stole my heart ❤😂
I was fully expecting an epic battle at the end . 😂
세상에는 작고 귀여운 동물은 아주 많다 너무 귀여워요🫶🏻💛💗🙂
I love how perfect they are at traversing their environment !!
Ready...
Steady...
(E!)
Defaulting to stealing is an interesting evolutionary adaptation. I mean, picking up the grass from your neighbor doesn't look a lot easier than picking it up from the field.
Except that they are likely dealing with few resources to begin with.
@@marley7659 - Perhaps. Maybe I don't know the plants well enough, but the mountainside looked full of random greens. I guess, as an outsider, I can't tell which ones are delicious/edible, lol.
That's why he's called a piker!
Well... It won't be in the open as long... Which might mean fewer encounters with predators....
Maybe less of a run, less effort for one mouth full. Lets the others do most of the work.
A real life pikachu. ❤❤
Without the electric abilities. Would've been cool though.
Tail-less pikachu..😂
😂😂😂😂

@@nathancomixproductions466 debatable.... I used to be trail crew in Colorado mountain, the forest ranger literally had an safety tip on avoiding lighting on mountain above tree level
literally, tip does say lighting can attract to angry or anxiety person so as soon you see hair float up and you feel the statistic in the air, just neutral your feeling and lay down elsewhere!
don't piss off pika 😅
Look at this son of a gun. It's literally pika aka Tom Cruise from Mission Impossible. My man knows how it's done!
And let's admit the brilliance of BBC's shooting, editing, and voicing here, what a masterpiece!
The lazy dude, not doing anything but chilling out until the opportuned time comes. What a thief. Instead of joining the Working Eekk time frame, he decides to stay lax and do sunbathing moment. Such a goat.
What a piker!
Lol just keep yawning basking under the sun and when it's time took and leave while other do all the hard work😅😅😅😂
I like how in the thumbnail he's floating.
That last Pika is the Pika equivalent of Mark Zuckerberg
Such cute creatures, such harsh environment! Only a few weeks of sunlight!
The next gen for Pokemon is looking good.
the voice of this guy is legendary
So is the rest of him!
I gotta catch em all.
oh my God! cuteness overload!
The thumbnail is adorable ❤❤❤
BBC earth providing another gem again
Love these fluffy pikas! Too cute!
Ready......Steady...... Pika....
They're so cute & amazing at the same time.
911: 911 what's your emergency?
Pika: eeeeeek
The yawn of that lazy neighbor 😂😂
They know how to preserve their own food? That's impressive
Humans aren't too different. Except they all get together and grab what they can and run out the door.
Where many of the less-competent ones get STUCK and yell at each other! (Insert political joke/commentary of your personal choice)
I saw two of these on Mt. Whitney. A special congratulations from Mother Nature.
From Hashem. From Gd.
The other is idokatry.
Pika-chu I choose you!!!!
0:10 that "Paikuhs" pierced my heart
Too cute😍
- I like that little rascal! ♥
I can’t get over the change to a “villainous” music when the second adorable lil creature is shown yawning xD
This is one of my favorite of all the videos. I love Pika
I have seen this episode before. Still enjoyed it again...
Now we know from where 'Pika-chu' came from!..
This is delightful.
😂😂❤❤ funny and cute at the same time
How cute can you be?
Pika: Eeeeek!
Imagine your neighbor stealing your furniture
Pika used Steal. It’s super effective!
i love the drama, stealing from your neighbours, now he just needs to steal another 10999 times
those are some really peaceful, yet harsh, but lovely places, with clean fresh air, and nature's colors and smells.
Siberia, mongolia etc , lovely places indeed.
It’s so cute when they have so many bundles of flowers in their mouths
They are trying their best to survive, and I can only see their cuteness... Go go pikachu!!
we saw and heard a few on the trails in Grand Teton National Park. at the time I had no idea how lucky we were.
Hey Who's that Pokemon
Me:- its Pikachu.
"I'll just borrow some food from my neighbor bob living over there"
🐇+🐁=Pika 😂
I am amazed at the amount of work it must have took to get some of those shots, like the one of the lazy neighbor standing on top of a rock, or the one with the foliage suddenly disappearing
pika: I am the voice. the thief in the night. the shadow on the mountain. I shall strike when the time is right and not a moment before or after.
also pika: *ee!*
This is the most beautiful thing I've seen in a while
Pika jumps so well! Brilliant operator's work.
سبحانك ربي ما أعظمك 🤲🏻
The little noises they make while traversing, Pokemon didn't lie after all.
Thank you for this adorable video!! ❤
❤Buetyfull Atmosphere ❤
What's rather truly fascinating Mr. Attenborough; is what happens when one of these tough little fellows comes across a lightning stone ⚡
There is nothing better than an british elderly narrating nature
What are you going to do with all of this hay?
Pika: Chew
I told you!
It's Paykachu!
Pika-chew!!
How adorable this beautiful creature 😮❤
How BBC makes beautiful shots like this? I almost felt this is an unreal CG not a documentary lol
Imagine being this adorable ❣️
Every species has it's own freeloaders 😂
For something so cute it had a pretty formidable bottom fang.
"For him... -disgruntled Eeeek- ...summer can't come soon enough" 😂 - Attenborough timed that line.
"If i don't take it someone else will"
Yacub
this is really well filmed and edited, beautiful
أجمل طبيعه من قاناتكم الرائعة
귀여운 외모에 비해 그렇지 못한 행동 😂
props to the camerman for being invisible.
The thing that I learned from this was that a Pika that yawns is also a Pika that steals!!
I was fortunate enough to come across a Pika around December last year in Himachal Pradesh. It had the most adorable ears. Soo friggin cute. argh!!!! We made eye contact for full 5 seconds before it disappeared. I am always thinking about that.
