The market trend can turn around very quickly. In fact, the indexes often switch from a bear market to a bull market when the news is at its worst and the mood of investors is at its lowest point. I read an article of people that grossed profits up to $150k during this crash, what are the best stocks to buy now or put on a watchlist?
Investors should be cautious about their exposure and be wary of new buys, especially during inflation. Such high yields in this recession is only possible under the supervision of a professional or trusted advisor.
True, initially I wasn't quite impressed with my gains, opposed to my previous performances, I was doing so badly, figured I needed to diversify into better assets, I touched base with a portfolio-advisor and that same year, I pulled a net gain of 550k...that's like 7times more than I average on my own.
I’ve been looking to switch to an advisor for a while now. Any help pointing me to who your advisor is?
Just research the name Angela Lynn Shilling. You’d find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment.
Thanks for sharing, I just looked her up on the web and I would say she really has an impressive background in investing. I will write her an e-mail shortly.
Everyone did an amazing job but special thanks to the blue shirt, truely a repository of knowledge and he didn't shy from sharing it.
They have dissected at a micro level what Investment Banking is supeb 👍

Or u should have an easy route..score an all india rank in ca final😂
a degree from any top tier institute will surely open the doors for you but so will skills! if you have the required skills and the mindset, you can pretty much crack anything that comes to you.

What topics update you needed if any CA passout student want to go in IB
@kushallodha, great insight into IB through this video. Although i was here to learn how a CA would enter IB role, Manthan never gave an answer about his journey.

Bhaiya I Am in class 12 currently and i want to do both investment banking as well as CFA so i want to know that how darran sir will start his journey to firstly become a investment banker and the CFA
As someone who has passed CFA L2 but then pivoted away from the CFA program to pursue an MBA first, Nilesh's words about CFA not having value in India rung so true.
I gave L2 in November 2022 and got a pass result in Jan but had such a difficult time finding decent roles in the industry. Not just investment banking but also other spaces asset management are extremely difficult to break into just with a CFA L2. I applied for almost 200 odd openings but heard back from none of them so I just decided to postpone taking L3 and prepare for CAT first in hopes of getting into a good MBA program which could help me break into the industry easier.
True..even I have experienced the same after L2
So are you saying CFA is not worth it at all? Or there are opportunities maybe outside India?
@@anjaliburad6028 I won't say it's not worth it but you have to understand the job market in India.
The number of great finance roles are limited but there is intense competition. You'll have a CA, CFA, MBA, Engineering, BCom/ MCom graduate fighting for the same role which makes it difficult for you to stand out.
Also Indian employers care wayyyyyy too much about labels. I've seen people from IITs with no qualifications in finance get good equity research roles over someone with proven knowledge of finance just cuz they don't have an IIT/IIM label.
The CFA is much more valuable if you want to tap into other developed markets like US, EU or SE Asian markets.
In India it's a 'good to have' not a 'must have'
@@vishalshinde8206I also thought the same but who are the iitians clearing interview like if they don’t know about finance . It’s the company’s loss anyway .
@@PJ-if4ju The companies are ok bringing them on board and teaching them everything. They just want the IIT tag.

Hi Khushal Bhaiya! Thanks for this amazing podcast for the students who want to get into IB! But I had one question that I'm currently in my first year of Bachelors of Financial Market (BFM) from Mithibai college and I'm plaaning to give my CFA level 1 in next year and my aim is to finish it around my graduation and then I'm planning to go for MBA in Finance from NMIMS and I'm currently doing courses such as Financial Modelling and I have done a few of NSE and NISM's courses. Would all of this land me into an Investment banking firm?
easily bro
did you Start Preparation of NSE and Nism's course just after your 12th ?

I am from an NIT( A tier 1.5 engineering college in India) , have a very keen interest in financial markets and banking, what should I do
According to them , the industry won't even consider me for fresher roles if I am not from top IITs
The Blue whale seems to be hijacking the convo.. I mean it was not so intricate commercial talk.
He has to show his dominance as a VP
The blue shirt guy wasn't letting anyone else speak. So irritating!
He is the one who gave most information. We got to know many processes because of him. And he didn't interrupt, he added a lot to what others were saying.
It's people like him that makes these podcasts knowledgeable.
If you can't be thankful, atleast don't call him irritating.
No sir
He was very insightful, he just did justice to why he was there.
He was insightful, the other guys were a bit introverted, he was talkative and extroverted so naturally the conversations were dominated by him.....
@Nura😮v56 ur day and u
Blue shirt data entry job karta hai... Zaada English bol kar attention le raha hai
Edelweiss AVP in IB Division, how tf is it data entry?
