This is where we see how well Kimono Mom has raised Sutan and how she and Moto have set up a household that's a true partnership. Sutan is just so adorable - when a child is at that age we know it's a dilemma to be away from your child for a week.
You are actually setting the best example as a Mom. Showing Sutan by example to be a strong and inspiring woman, living her true self, having wishes and hopes and dreams for yourself only and pushing through. I am speaking by experience. When my daughter was the age of Sutan, I had the same doubts and felt the same pressure. And now my daughter is 16 years old and thanked me, knowing for sure that me too I will support her with her wishes and dreams one day and that no pressure on her will come from me.

From the thumbnail and intro I thought SUTAN was flying alone as an unaccompanied minor lol. And on that note, you are still a great parent even taking time away. Good parenting is not measured on spending every hour or every bit of money on them, but your effort, planning, and learning.
I’ve gotten used to flying alone but when I did my first international flight alone, I was a bit nervous. Once you do it more, it’ll get easier and become second nature just like any other flight. But leaving behind your spouse and child, I imagine will never be easy. My last international trip, I was away for a month. No kids but I have a dog which is pretty much my child and she’s a mama’s girl so I was a little worried. But the reunion after an international trip is always the best!
SUTAN and MOTO-SAN...You both did a great job together to make it easy for MOE / MUMMY to go and do this quick trip which will bring so much happiness to you all and to the company. I found that travelling to a foreign place alone can lead to a lot of *self-discovery.* Without the influence of other people, you'll be surprised on how much more you can get to know yourself better. Your judgements, tendencies and ways of coping with unfamiliar situations can reveal your true nature. When you are forced to adapt you learn, and you change. That's why it's an experience anybody should try and not be afraid of.
