Great video, really helpful, thanks. One question for you: The metal "spike" type tool you used to help finalize the lineup of the alignment bolt holes on getting the toe and camber control arms back in place, what is the name of that tool and where can I get one?
Hey, great question! I just purchased a couple more this black friday and had trouble coming up with the exact name to search. This is what I ordered: Mayhew Tools 40100 9" Rolling Head Pry Bar and Mayhew 40101 16-Inch Rolling Head Pry Bar. They are quality tools to have for the collection and are made in the USA. I just used them when rebuilding the rear suspension on my Civic and they are very convenient to have. Hope that helps!
Im thinking of replacing my front strut because it's leaking with the Koni Special Active but also considering the Blistein B4s. Besides price, any reason why you didn't go with the B4?
Mainly the condition of roads found in most states across the USA I wanted something that would do well over broken pavement and be firm when pushed. This is an older article on the shocks before they were renamed "Special Actives": www.tirerack.com/suspension/tests/koni_fsd.jsp
@@Jbizzle_klok Sometimes you can find low mileage suspension components on Rennlist Marketplace or 986 forum. For example, something like this: rennlist.com/forums/market/1312816
@@gearswitch5692 One last question. Can you see the red of the strut easily through the wheel wells? I ask because I would like for the car to look as stock as possible and match my black calipers.

I got the same struts too!
Two years later and I still really enjoy them on everyday roads!
Hi bro, How long does the whole job take?
It really depends on your experience and how fast you prefer to work. Budget a full day and if you finish early consider it a win?

@@gearswitch5692 Thanks! Missed the sale they had. I'll wait until next year to get this done.
