lol so true
molly maple very very true i was .................... away
agree...what a inspiration
+Teressa Watts They don´t know, they just are... That is actually why they still can be. We adults know too much, that is why we can´t keep our inner child alive... Kiss ya´ll
Whoever the hell this music teacher is, is freaking amazing. Most would just go straight for a top 20s pop song of today.
Everytime I hear that beginning, I start crying. His voice hits me hard. That's my little buddy. :)
This kid is so cutee!! I wanna hug him so hard!!!
The boy in the beginning!!!! They couldn't have made a better decision of who to begin the song! 😍😍😍
the boy at the begging kicks ass, good job dude.
Sounds like something you'd hear during a glorious sunrise
Kid at 3:43, I saw that little flip. I saw it. Aces to you, Kid at 3:43.
8 years later, this is still a song I listen to regularly. I don't think I've heard the original in ages, but this one..this one is always my go to calming song
SAAAME.
10 years anniversary, all kids here are now adults
@@ancientslav4863 I'd pay good money to get them to remake it today
One of the best children's choirs I have ever heard.
Holy crap the girl at around 1:50 has an amazing voice
Oh Yes, she has.
3:15-3:28, the crescendo coming out of the bridge, with the older kids bringing it, wow! Goose bumps every time.
Heaven should play this over the radio and on monitors at all times.
I just came back for another listen. Dammit, I just can't listen to this without welling up - absolute chills at 3:20
I've listened to this so many times, I know when it's coming, and I still blub.
You go little man. Dont go changin for nobody!
wait till puberty hits him
100! :)
WHO THE HELL DISLIKED THIS !? they are amazing.
1:42
She made me cry so many times.
Love it! ❤
“It’s always darkest before the dawn”
Let’s make 2021 great
this aged poorly.
2022 too
Sometimes it goes from dark to darker to pitch black
I really love how all of these kids look so happy to sing
The little guy in the beginning KILLS me.
perfect blend of innocence and authority for the little man, his transition from real voice to head voice just gave me goosebumps. argh you guys are amazing!!
I'm gonna assume this is a school for performing arts. That was simply too amazing for me to believe otherwise. All those soloists killed it and the drums gave me serious goosebumps!
Nope, it's a children's choir. Up 'till 12 anyone can enter. 13 and up have to audition. Check their website ;)
I'm colored completely impressed :)
I can sing good im also in a Chours. I have an oudernary school.
the girl who sings at the 1.41 mark is amazing.one of the best voices i have ever heard..
I get back to this every once in a while... Both this and I trust Us. So good.
Every once in a while I look for these gems that squeeze the tears out of me from the place I've had them stored throughout my daily struggles... I cry and I feel restarted. Thank You!
That little boy in the beginning is just so adorable!
"Shake It Out"
Regrets collect like old friends
Here to relive your darkest moments
I can see no way, I can see no way
And all of the ghouls come out to play
And every demon wants his pound of flesh
But I like to keep some things to myself
I like to keep my issues drawn
It's always darkest before the dawn
And I've been a fool and I've been blind
I can never leave the past behind
I can see no way, I can see no way
I'm always dragging that horse around
All of his questions, such a mournful sound
Tonight I'm gonna bury that horse in the ground
So I like to keep my issues drawn
But it's always darkest before the dawn
Shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, ooh whoa
Shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, ooh whoa
And it's hard to dance with a devil on your back
So shake him off, oh whoa
And I am done with my graceless heart
So tonight I'm gonna cut it out and then restart
'Cause I like to keep my issues drawn
It's always darkest before the dawn
Shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, ooh whoa
Shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, ooh whoa
And it's hard to dance with a devil on your back
So shake him off, oh whoa
And it's hard to dance with a devil on your back
And given half the chance would I take any of it back
It's a fine romance but it's left me so undone
It's always darkest before the dawn
Oh whoa, oh whoa...
And I'm damned if I do and I'm damned if I don't
So here's to drinks in the dark at the end of my road
And I'm ready to suffer and I'm ready to hope
It's a shot in the dark aimed right at my throat
'Cause looking for heaven, found the devil in me
Looking for heaven, found the devil in me
Well what the hell I'm gonna let it happen to me, yeah
Shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, ooh whoa
Shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, ooh whoa
And it's hard to dance with a devil on your back
So shake him off, oh whoa
Shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, ooh whoa
Shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, shake it out, ooh whoa
And it's hard to dance with a devil on your back
So shake him off, oh whoa
this is one of them songs that cant be over listened too
brought tears to my eyes... this was simply beautiful
***** Me too..brilliant
I wish I could like this more than once! I come back to this video when I need a little boost in life. Seriously... there is so much to take away from their singing. It's Heavenly.
I do wonder why someone who clicked a link called "choral tribute" would dislike this. As far as choral tributes go, this is as good as it gets. Wonderful vocals, gorgeous instrumentation, perfect arrangement and absolutely world class production at Abbey Road none less. Well done all involved!
Ive come back to watch this many many times for a few years now, i wonder what these kids are up to now.
I can't get enough of this, it's so beautiful. ❤ I can't remember what the original sounds like anymore LOL.
i still listen to this song in 2020, quarantine sucks i need something. they couldn't have done a better job!!
There was a while where I would listen to this every night before going to bed. I think it's the most beautiful thing I've ever heard.
it's really amazing. I sang in the choir and this video makes me a little nostalgic. I hope that all the people in this video are ok now.
This boy singing solo in the beginning is amazing! His tone and pitch is fabulous! All of them are wonderful.
I can tell this took a very long time and it brings tears to my eyes because these kids are very committed on What they do. It must've been more than 200 children for this one song and how all their beautiful voices came together was amazing
couldn't agree more(P.S my little girl is called Kyah) x
The future is in good hands
the people that disliked this, have no taste in music! I can't believe how amazing these kids are :)
These sounds are what will carry my soul to it's next destination.
That is a beautiful sentiment! :)
what a voice
when he starts to sing, I simply cry
Go your way, you're something specia
This is a beautiful arrangement. I'm like blown away by how good this is...
I love Florence + the Machine it's one of my all time favorite groups. I love this song, I got cold chills hearing the voices of the young people. Florence has such a great and unique voice and to be able to sing her song and totally make it sound so great is so amazing! They all have beautiful voice keep singing let your voices be heard as much as you can! Love this just love it!
Since 8 years I carry this version of the song in my head. I searched multiple times for hours, however the lyrics was so different in my head so I could not find it. Until yesterday, when I found the original in spotify just randomly. I recognized the rythm and parts/the sound of the lyrics. I cried tears of happiness 😭😭😍😍☺️☺️
ive been listening to this cover every day and its always stuck in my head
Ok so I know the saying, "you sounded like an angel". THESE KIDS LITERALLY SOUND LIKE ANGLES! PROPS TO THEM!
My Lord....Never thought I'd see the day that someone covered a Florence and the Machine song and actually do a great job..... Love this cover. Very talented group of young men and women. Keep it up.
This is the most beautiful thing I've heard in a long time. All of these voices are incredible, and the harmony is exquisite. This couldn't be better.
ese kids music teacher.....take a bow...... and then take another. every time I listen to this i remember why I teachers are the bomb
I've taught myself how to play guitar and piano and I'd like to make music, but I never got a foundation in singing and I wish I could've done something like choir or glee club. My voice is decent, but I'm not confident because I never got any formal training. Literally everything I know about music I've basically taught myself and I feel like I missed out on a lot growing up.
Participating in something like Capital Children's Choir would've been awesome.
Same here, I taught myself to play guitar, piano, and now I'm trying to sing, except I sound like broken record, but oh well, about the confidence thing, I was afraid to "sing" but that builds over time.Sing in front of one person, then later on, in front of more people and you will see your confidence build up.
Go and join a choir then. It's never too late.
I never tire from listening to this. Thx for sharing!
So spectacular! They sound like angels
Wow. Just wow. Awesome. Truly amazing.
This is one of the best performances I've ever seen/heard.
I always find myself coming back to this beautiful performance. Everyone's so incredibly talented.
I love this so much can't go a day without watching it. All of the Solo's were wonderful
I can not believe how anyone on earth can dislike this. Amazing work!
I love the song, the choir, and the spiritual message in the lyrics :D. Beautiful!
I've probably listened to this about a hundred times. It simply doesn't get better!
Had to come back for another listen.
You all are tremendously incredible.
I'm so impressed by Your voices... I keep on replaying this video, and every single time I have tears in my eyes. At this point of my life this performance means a world to me. Thank You.
Holy sh*t! I feel in the heaven..! Just amazing!
Jees ... 11 years since this epic work was released. Sad to think that everone in this video has grown up and probably moved on to other things. I wonder if any of them watch this just for old times sake ... if so, then I hope you're all doing great, especially the little dude at the start (who's probably married and starting his own family).
They are absolutely amazing. Their performance was stunning.
Amazing ...when angels decide to sing ...
THEY ARE ALL PERFECTION
I keep getting chills and I can't stop playing! Just beautiful.
Wow soooo BEAUTIFUL, made me cry. Blessed voices, also my 4 years old nephew loves this voices. He says awesome, he watches it over and over. William now knows the whole song. Amazing voices of angels
I want to buy this on ITUNES!!!!
Honestly all I was thinking about was how that's a lot of headphones like dammm
Absolutely gorgeous. These kids have some crazy pipes.
Heavenly noise... Thank you to everyone involved in this, and may God bless you all!
This is truly amazing!
This is amazing OMG. Florence Welch must had been so happy watching this :)))
This is absolutely amazing, love the accent of the little man.
And the girls.. flawless.
Perfect.
Beautiful melody or harmony!!!Just the right tune!!
Think about this. These young people making these amazing sounds. They're just bunches of atoms that have somehow acquired consciousness, and these atoms make these beautiful noises. I don't believe in God, but this makes me want to.
wOw.....O.o.....that boy got a voice of an ANGEL ;)
I've watched this video so many time and I always get goosebumps.
The most beautiful thing I ever saw... children of that age singing in a choire with so many different voices with so much heart and innocent souls... creating perfection in my ears and make me smile with tears in my eyes....
MADE MY DAY
I was listening to this at my work and my boss said to "turn that garbage down". I work at a convenience store I have never complained once about his Bollywood crap. I know good music when I hear it and this is good music. Please don't stop the covers. I would love to hear these angles do a take of The Sound of Silence.
Holy crap quit that job.
1:42 best voice ever :D
After all these years I still have tears when I hear this version. Such pure souls.. ♡
So every once in a while, I come back to this video to remind me there is hope. It worked again today. Thank you capitol choir, beautifully done.

Reptilians, grays, and other flesh-eaters no doubt.

literally gave me chills and brought me to tears. that's what beautiful music combined with amazing voices will do...
This is still my favorite version of this song. Can't believe I've been listening to it for 5 years now. Probably will never stop listening to it. So beautiful and emotional and, really, every thing I want from music.
