Idk how many people missed this, but the Monkey Ace can actually reverse it's direction, so regarding the "bloon chasing" sequence, he could've pressed the button and made it so it runs into them.

You can change the direction that the ace flies in so that it doesn't chase the ceramics and miss. You were killing me the entire time by not making such a simple change
I really liked the idea of a pirate lord for a 2tc. I thought a PoD might be easier to do it and it went great. Managed to get my first 2tc with the combo. Thanks for the inspiration.
It's actually the hardest mode outside of challenges, so little that is efficient enough to clear it. Kinda boring too tbh because you're just spamming different orders of the same 3 heroes and 4 or 5 towers.
To get more money you could’ve avoided hooking in as many Moab’s as you could especially in the beginning when you know you have enough popping power for them
My cat litterally went to the hospital paralized and died this morning in the span of 1 hour. I am glad this could calm me down a bit so I could become a bit less depressed about it. Thank you :)
Commenting at 3:19, so I haven't watched the whole thing yet-I just actually tried this on Logs and ended up losing on round 89, $200 away from the Flying Fortress! Maybe someone else can try that and see if you can do better. I thought I was being so clever too... I also tried not getting the camo detection on the buccaneer, to try to save up faster, but ended up losing to camos in the 40's. Excited to see how SJB pulls it off :)

I did do one thing different which was longer range (but not crow's nest) on the buccaneer, which seemed to help a lot in the early game because it allows the buccaneer to do a ton. Range can be a powerful upgrade if it allows you to see more of Logs' long track! Maybe it would have taken me fewer than 20 tries but like a dumbass I was also trying to black border it. My goodness, well played SJB~
I like to go bottom path on my monkey pirates. It's not really better, but I always feel like double shot is cheating me by not actually doubling my cannons like it says it does
tbh bottom path's +1 pierce on grape shot is great for early game, especially in non-chimps where you mainly need cheap early defense so you can farm a ton
I’m almost a year late on this, but when he was instakilling all those Moab’s that he didn’t technically “need” to, he was getting like 0 dollars per moab
I don’t like it. It can’t take micro into account, it can’t take sell/rebuy into account, it can’t take mid-round upgrades into account, etc. It just seems completely unreliable.
@@Jominer08 By what standard would it calculate micro? ISAB is a whole lot better at micro than I am, for example. It's a good concept, but its unworkable in execution. There are just too many moving variables in the game..

nope, in chimps, upgrades like boat pull and bloon trap dont give extra money, but they _do_ give you the money that popping the bloons the normal way would if you look closely you can see it at 6:21, his money goes from 2.9k to 3.3k (from hooking in the moab) and then immediately to 3.4k (from the $100 end of round bonus because the moab just died)

@@mohtom4755 ...no, my first comment talks about why using the ability doesnt lose him any money even though the ability doesn't give the usual extra money, it still gives the _normal money_ he'd get from popping the moab if the moab is worth x money when you pop it normally, he uses the ability and cant pop the moab so seems to lose x money, but the ability gives him x money, theres absolutely zero change in the end result

I got to 92 with literally just a 0-5-2 buccaner and nothing else, added anti bloon and got a ez 2TC
