You can actually test positive after eating SIGNIFICANTLY less poppy seeds than you did there. Just 1 or 2 poppy seed bagels can make you test positive even with them trying to accommodate normal consumption in the test sensitivity.
You can get high drinking water rinsed with a few hundred grams of unwashed seeds. I used to take low doses to deal with some chronic pain after the opioid epidemic started and I couldn’t get my prescription anymore. I never had issues with dependence or WD with small consistent doses, but there are a lot of alkaloids in there so it can be brutal for people sensitive to WD. I shot for a very subtle warm bit of pain relief and didn’t chase a high and the good ol opium poppy increased the quality of my life ten fold! It was so much less addicting than the pills my doctors gave me, and last so much longer than kratom. PS I do not recommend anyone tries this, it can be dangerous!!

Poppy seeds are easy to sprout in a few days, your seeds will go further this way and you won't have unprocessed seeds going right through you. Thank me later and don't eat bagels and drive.. :')

These types of tests usually don't directly test for what they say they are testing for.
They test for metabolic breakdown products of the substances.

As I recall when this actually happened to me after one lemon poppyseed muffin they said the test detected morphine.

Actually, you're wrong here. Drug tests (unlike pregnancy, covid, etc.) are positive if NO test line shows up. If there is one, the test is negative.
