Montenegro is an absolute must visit if I'm anywhere near the Adriatic, it and Croatia are like a less expensive Italy. If you rent a car I've seen it mentioned that people drive very slow there, especially in the mountains.
As a fellow Montenegrian, prices are way too high especially in Budva. Btw Montenegro's nature is incredible it's just the goverment and politics that sux, so they can't invest properly and make all those places fine as it should be!

I been to Budva since i am born in 70s every year ,during Yugoslavia on that pathway there was little open car train that would take you from old town all the way try that tunnel to end off that sand beach (in the end is place call Rafailovici where there is lot off traditional sea food restoraunts ) ,but in the end there is another tunnel after that is another big beach and before there on second tunnel was nude beach before , i been there as teen becase off curiosity and yes most were older people with few younger girls ,but its not nude beach any more for like 20 years. If you want nude beach in Montenegro that still works you go to Ada Bojana ,whole stip off beach that is 3-4 km long is nude beach

Don't go to the capital!! It's pretty boring and you would be wasting funds and time and missing some of the most unique and beautiful cities, for example if you're still there and you post the vlogs a day or two after filming Kotor is a must see and Ulcinj, Ada Bojana has a ottoman style old town and a extremely wide beach that is completely different than any other beach you've seen especially at the exact delta of the river bojana and the see. Also although not in montenegro it is very close Dubrovnik is also a would recommend.
Montenegro got de facto independence at the end of 17th century and before that we had 2 more dynasties, Doclea and Zeta. So its realy OOOOLD country. We got independency from Yugoslavia 2006. Budva or its antique name is Bothua. When Rome invaded Balkan that city was fighting it. Of course new buildings were built upon old ones. I would believe that Budva is some 2500 years older than US.
no disrespect, great video, but you can't say montenegro is a new country, we have been here for centuries and had our own culture for all of these years, we are famous in history for being brave and being the only country to deflect ottoman empire due to the mountanious area that made it easier for us to push them back, unluckily we had a huge country called yugoslavia with all the balkan countries united, but unfortunately war happened and it started falling apart, we were the last country to leave yugoslavia or so called serbia and montenegro in 2006.
A separate story about the town (village) Pryzhno. A magnificent, very beautiful place (community/district) of Budva. The beach looks like a concentration camp (pioneer camp) divided by ropes and buoys in the water, just Achtung, a so-so sight. This is a very small bay with a small in length and width beach strip, which is divided into zones: the largest 70% is occupied by the Mistral Hotel entrance 180 Euro, imagine 180 Euro!!!!, then 25% of the beaches (approaches to the sea) are occupied by restaurants and cafes that belong to the restaurants (the people there are polypolized/the same/the average bill is 30 euros without alcohol), entrance to the beach is 15 euros, and only a small sliver of 5 percent is like a city beach - it looks just fucking nuts ((( then, for the whole place called Pryzhno there is essentially one store (like a chain store) the products are of terrible quality, and the prices, well, for example, eggs 2.5 - 4 euros, sliced \u200b\u200bpackage of 150 grams - 3.5 euros, regular pepper - 3.5 - 4 euros, tomatoes (crap) - 3.5 euros, etc. There are no fast foods at all. A cup of coffee is 2, 5 - 3.5 euros. You can forget about fish and seafood, the price is off the charts, and the prices are outrageous, octopus (dish) = 22 euros. I didn't expect it to be impossible to get to the beach, I even somehow find it unpleasant, and from the outside who pays and who doesn't, what nonsense. Don't believe me? Take a look. We went a little further to the beaches of the former government residence, cool beaches with gorgeous views and no ropes, but there are no changing rooms, showers, where to buy water, ice cream, there is nothing at all, absolutely nothing. Oh, and get ready, there are no toilets there, there are none at all, in the bushes, you have to climb into the bushes in the mountains and shit a bunch of shit, I'm not kidding at all - this is the objective truth. If I go to Montenegro again (because of the Adriatic Sea and the gorgeous views), then only for a maximum of 7-8 days, I will go not to the city of Budva itself (it's like China there, crowds on the beaches), but for Pryzno, but I will take with me: cigarettes, coffee, sausage and cheese, so that I can swim on the beaches near the government residence, eat: morning and evening at home, well, once a day go to a restaurant-cafe. So you can go for 7-8 days, if only the ticket from Moscow to Tivat didn't cost a lot of money. And there is no public transport from Tivat, get ready to pay 30 euros. I don't know that for 85 thousand rubles there and back with transfers to Kuwait, then to Tivat, that's another story (((

MOntenegro or "Prince-Bishopric of Montenegro" as was called then was only territory in Balkans that Ottomans could not conquere even was totaly surrounded by Otomans for hundreds off years
Montenegro is not new at all! It is the oldest slavic country dating back to 11th century when it was formed under the leadership of the Voislavljevic dynasty as the Kingdom of Duklja(roman Doclea) after the slavic people defeated and fended off the army of the Byzantine Empire in the battle at the city of Bar in 1042(The slavic people took over Doclea duing the 8th century). The old roman city of Doclea was where todays capital Podgorica is, and its ruins are still there. The whole reason for its independence in 2006 was because of the many turmoils (ottoman invasion) and merges (Yugoslavia), so you could say it regained its independence.
