I'm not sure. I don't see a download link on Roland's site for an editor, but the XPS-30 download page does list the Juno drivers and librarian software as compatible. I say give it a shot and let us know how it goes!

Sorry! Didn't see your comment before. Try this: in editor, select the "keyboard range" tab on the left, and make sure the "switch" button is engaged on the additional channels. Not sure how I missed your comment - sorry. I think this should work on a tablet that runs Windows OS (like a Surface), but won't work on an Android tablet or iPad.

Hmmm... haven't used on a Mac, so can't be sure. But check the video at 1:15 and see if perhaps you're having that error. On Windows, in Editor, you'd go to Setup > Setup MIDI devices and look for your Juno there. Are there drivers for Mac listed on the Roland download site? It might nor be plug & play... Let us know how it goes!

hey chris i have problem regarding juno di editor, i have done installation of editor on pc and have used it, made some tones on it before few months, bt now i returned to open editor and its not done, when i trying to connect Keybord to pc through USB, it shows that USB not recognized, after that i solve that problem bt now when i tried to '"setup connection" in midi setup, it show only Juno di (unconnected), and above of that no other option is there to choose , bcoz of that i am unable to use this editor,, can u plz help to reslove this problem?? any other friend if have information then plz help me to reslove it.
This might be a little bit beyond me - it sounds like a driver issue on your PC. Check Roland's page for a driver for your OS: www.roland.com/global/support/by_product/juno-di/updates_drivers/ Also try this: On your Juno, press MENU, then where it says SYSTEM, press the RIGHT ARROW until it says MIDI, then press the DOWN ARROW until you see USB DRIVER. There are two options: VENDER and GENERIC. You might try switching to the other one and then re-booting the Juno to see if that makes a difference. Mine is on VENDER.

As far as I know, it is not possible to change the patch that is associated with the "solo synth" function, so that unfortunately remains relegated to uses like DJ scratching, freaking people out when they accidentally wave their hand over it, or freaking YOU out when you accidentally place your setlist/Bible.whatever on top of it ;-) The best use of the D-Beam, in my experience, is to put it on the "expression" setting and use it for volume swells. It will only work on the first "part" in a multi-part perform, so sometimes that gives you some cool options for swelling things in at the beginning of a song. If I'm just using a single patch I'll usually just use the volume knob instead.

Chris Reed On my Juno di editor only parts 1 and 2 from the perform work and not the others from 3-16. What do I need to do to activate those parts?

Mac installation has some issues, for some reason it doesnt pick up the juno di in the Setup bit. Any advice?
