Everything about this girl feels so authentic to me: her person, her powerful voice, her music, her lyrics. I only discoverd this artist very recently and I'm kind in love.
@@parnilsson8283 she's a part of a rare breed in today's music landscape. A talent that never waivers and can reach the listener with the songs message. Not too many can do that these days. 🍻
@rismari9545 it is a song wrote with a very emotional purpose and a song sung with an amazing person's beautiful heart. A good mind put it together, a great soul encompasses it's embodiment.
Hey man I'm glad you liked it, that's an awesome review and breakdown of the song. Also since you are a babymetal fan, you might want to check out "Hanabie- We love sweets" If you have time.
@@crowpivion First time I heard KARASU I felt the same way as when I heard Miyuki for the first time back in the mid 90s and it made me think of that as well, and it turns out she's done covers of Miyuki as well. What I've heard so far by Upiko kas been... heart wrenching and sad with so much emotion poured into every song it makes me want to cry...
@@diosyntaxa UPIKO has a voice that rings out for the ignored and pushed to the side tragedies of today. As her newest song also points to that voice of the message of the pain and the pained. She is a great singer as well as artist that instead of painting a canvas with a brush, she paints the world with her amazing music. On the surface you see tragedy but if you look deep enough you'll find the beauty.
@@crowpivion Oh I see the beauty in it for sure, there's beauty in darkness after all, but I also love how it tells the stories that need to be heard. I've listened to a few more songs, doing my best to transcribe the lyrics and see what she sings (not all have English subtitles) and so far all have had this sad theme that says what needs to be said... And always emotion in her voice, always.

@@crowpivion yes, I totally agree. She's a very rare gem
She is my favourite Japanese singer. She makes me feel like I'm in a battle I can actually win
She has very powerful unmistakable vocals. One of those kinds of singers that really and truly makes you tune in to her tunes.
I love UPIKO songs🎉 thank you
arigatou🍻🌸
She is very good lyrically and instrumentally I am happy that javarice suggested her. You're welcome. Dōitashimashite🙂🤘
English version
