The Gasbuddy app helps you find the cheapest gas near you. Using the Gasbuddy card to pay for gas has great benefits including never having to be without gas due to lack of funds and great cash back Rewards. If you pay at the pump you'll need to enter your ID and mileage. If you pay inside of the store you made me to enter your phone number which is your alternate ID.

Nice video. The gas buddy card sounds great. The only thing I don't like is that you can only use the cash back at Sears and Kmart. But it's still worth it to get some rewards since gas is so high.
Too bad they took away the Shop your way rewards now 😕

I just signed up a couple months ago, but they must’ve changed things cause now it takes 90 days to get your $ back. But it’s great with using Shop Your Way - you get a percentage back too, again after 90 days. I’m guessing that’s for the return period. But I have no complaints with GasBuddy except I keep getting emails like I haven’t signed up. 🤷🏻♀️

I just wanted to know how to use it at the pump too.
So once you have signed up and have established your card you should be able to run it at several pumps. There are some where you cannot use it though. One of them being ExxonMobil and some prepay situations.

Couple questions. Using the GasBuddy card automatically discounts gas and gives cash back? Also where can i refer people to it? I see in the app the refer but it doesn’t show gives us anything.
Hi, yes you automatically get $0.05 off per gallon. I signed up for GasBuddy before the cash back at Shop Your Way was available so originally I had to click on something in an email I received introducing the program. It may be automatic now. I am not a hundred percent sure. After you put gas, you should be able to see how much cash back you have received in the wallet section of your app. Also in the same wallet section, it reads "invite friends. Save big". Once you press invite friends, It'll ask you how you want to send the invitation. You get $0.15 off per gallon for each person that makes a purchase using your invite along with $0.30 per gallon cashback at shopyourway. I hope this answers your questions.
I don’t get it. I use the card n bought gas but I don’t think I even put my bank info on there lol like I’m so confused?? So am I gonna have to pay it back? 🥴😬
I'm not sure you could use the card without putting banking information. Check your bank account 2 days after using it to see if the money comes out because yes of course you're going to have to pay.
Can you use the gas app with Apple Pay to save more money? If so , can you do a video ?
Honestly I apologize I am not familiar at all with iphones or Apple.. But it shouldn't be too difficult to figure out if you simply go into your Apple pay. I"ve payed at lot of places and have been doing that for years using either Google pay or Samsung pay and people always complain about Apple pay being declined on their POS. But that might have changed by now. I haven't seen any indication in the gas buddy app that there is a specific Apple pay feature.
You forgot to mention the .30 is promo. Not that high anymore. Also you are limited to 50$ per day only and the cash back $ expire quickly. I find it difficult to spend in time.

Gas buddy vs exxonspeedplus?
I assume you speak of the ExxonMobil Speedpass+ app. In which case I use them both interchangeably depending on such things as my location and my current promotions.
Gasbuddy perks
1. Could be used with gas stations membership cards like Speedway, Shell Fuel Rewards, BP, etc.
2. $.05 off per gallon
3. $.15 per gallon cash back at Shopyourway
4. Takes 48 hours to hit your account.

Gas buddy is better it makes getting gas a afterthought and this is coming from a Lyft driver, almost feels like I’m stealing 😂
I cant verify my account, i got a .01 cents deposit to my bank account. But can't find a place to verify that amount. I went to my shavings icon but its not giving me an option to put it..
It's been so long I don't remember how I did it. Also things might have changed. Did you check your email for instructions?

I don't live in Canada so I don't know. I went to the website to see if it works there and apparently you can look up gas prices using the app but I'm just not sure if you can use the Gasbuddy card to pay at any of the pumps in Canada. Try it out let me know.

Y do you have to give GasBuddy your bank account
If you only want to use the gas buddy app to find cheap gas you don't have to give them your banking information but if you want to get a gas buddy card to use at the pump then you would have to provide it so that they can debit the money from your bank
With the ‘Gas Buddy’ card, so you have to use
The card at the pump, or can you pay inside?
I pay at the pump sometimes when you try to pay inside it doesn't work. Other times it does.

All major fuel retailers accept the Pay with GasBuddy card with the exception of the following brands: Exxon Mobil, BJs, Costco, Sam's Club, H-E-B, Select Walmart stations, Select Arco Stations.

@@rubyvelez4165 No need to apologise. Yes I would go ahead and link your checking account because they will be debiting the amount you charge to your gasbuddy card from your debit account because it's not a credit card but it takes 1 to 2 business days depending on your institution
