I’m not sure what your diet is like right now but I had horrible cystic acne until I cut out all dairy and gluten and that’s the only thing that made it clear up. Even my dermatologists were shocked.
I think I was on accutane for like 8 months until my face completely cleared. It kinda sucks but then you don’t ever really have to wash your face with cleansers once you finish the accutane treatment. The only times i get acne now are if I put soap on my face (I use face masks sometimes and a st Ives exfoliating wash every few weeks-those are the only things that don’t break me out). I don’t have to wash my face with cleanser everyday anymore. I also get a few pimples on my period or if my dog licks my face and I forgot to wash it off lol. I took accutane at 18 going on 19 and I’m 23 now and don’t have hormonal acne anymore. They did say sometimes people’s bodies are more susceptible to the medicine than other peoples bodies

Just wanted to share! I used to struggle with really bad acne, I went to see my doctor and they’ve told me that majority of skin issues are rooted by your gut health! I’ve started taking probiotics, drinking water with salt, acv before my meals and slowly changing my diet like you’re doing! It has helped me truly! You could try that out! 🩷 love your videos as always, God bless!

Totally get the mirror thing! I’ll be reading and have my laptop turned off but open in front of me , so my reflection distracts me and I have to either turn on the laptop or close it . But I like the laptop open cause it’s a comfort while studying , so I just leave it on😂 but don’t worry not conceited , just easily distracted

Hi Marla :) So... I will be honest... I haven't watched your videos for a few years (because I only log in once in a blue moon to make a comment here and there...) but I recently logged in and watched a few... and I was honestly a bit heartbroken watching you go down the... accutane route... (just because I don't like seeing anybody dealing with the side effects of all that) I was happy to hear you say that you do realize something internally might be off (and juicing is wonderful, and can be very healing... so I'm glad you're hopping on that train lol) and you are spot on saying that accutane is a band-aid solution. I have heard of people who, when they went off of it, got the acne right back. Hopefully you won't be one of them but I'm just saying... it does happen. You mentioned elsewhere that this is what you chose for yourself and I respect that. You can stick it out as you are nearing the 6 month mark and see how it goes.
However.... this just from my heart... really... I would like to remind you that in scripture we are told in many places.... do not put your trust in mankind. All of these drugs, prescriptions and pharmaceuticals... they are not from our Father in the Heavens.... they are from mankind... and synthetic (from start to finish... in a lab) hence all the side effects. Elohim said, “See, I have given you every plant that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed, to you it is for food. (Gen 1:29) There are many herbal remedies/tinctures that not only work... but actually work by healing. I personally have used many of St. Francis Herb Farm products, all have been wonderful and I still use them today. (I am in Canada... but I am sure there's many others you can find in US) They have several blends (of different herbs working together for the better) one called Clear Glow - for the skin (that actually works by purifying your blood and gently detoxing your system) and another one called Turmeric Plus - for pain/inflammation. Super easy to take, just mix and in a little bit of water on an empty stomach... and you're done. If your look up each herb and what it actually does... it's actually mind blowing! This is just an example and I am not sponsored or anything by the way lol (and St. Francis Herb Farm only ships within Canada from what I know... sorry... like I said I just used it as an example and from personal experience) but this could've been a wonderful way to go about treating your acne naturally and perhaps something you might want to look into and explore in the future. I just believe a truly healing thing... is just that... healing. It does not have to beat down and tax your other organs like these prescriptions drugs unfortunately but not surprisingly... super often do.

honestly birth control has helped tremendously when it came to acne, my hormones are a lot balanced, and my acne just went away completely, my acne was pretty bad before taking birth control toward the end of my senior year it just appeared like wild fire, but this is just what works best for me 🫶🏼
Yes! I was going to say the same thing. I used to have really bad acne back in school, then I checked up my hormones level and the doctor just suggested me to take birth control. It is so much less aggressive than accutane, I doesn't effect your health and if for some reason you'll experience some side effects you can just change the birth control type, there are a thousand.
