This was one of my favorite updates. I live in the USA now, and much as I love it here - and really think of it as home - this type of ‘Englishness’ makes my heart sing. Thanks for sharing your journey with us. :)
Really happy your posting again, your self confidence seems to still be increasing, presentation skill also, and videography is up there with some of the best self producers out there.
A Canal Boat Floating Market? Whatever floats your boat! (Sorry Lorna had to make that bad pun) in serious it's a great video and the items they were selling were epic and Foxton Locks and the surrounding area does look like a lovely area.
After such a long journey to get to this point, it's great to see you enjoying life in your new boat. Looking forward to many future adventures. Blessing from the Land Down Under. 🙂
Please say "Hello" from me to the cheese sandwich monster when you see him. Don't, whatever you do, let him start any DIY project while on your lovely new boat. 😉😉
I love the market - especially the beer narrowboat; I am an American homebrewer and partial to traditional English ales. David can bring his own cheese! Have a good week.
Our favourite place. Cycling distance from our Bungalow. Just wished we had known about it and we could have met up etc. Cheers from George and Jane. Happy cruising. We will keep an eye out for you. Next time we are over near the canal. We normally park our Campervan in the village and walk to top lock etc.
Thanks for sharing that lovely afternoon with us, very nicely done 💖 Your shots of the canal boat museum made me wonder about the horses, always sort of assumed the horse belonged to the boat, now I'm wondering if they were owned by the stables, as they must have needed to be changed often - off now to research it - thanks for piquing my curiosity!
If you were to sell things from your boat, I would go for Chocolate bars, the fancy ones with toppings. I beleive that would be doable in a smaller space and you could prepare a lot beforehand.
Sunny day, by the canal, fresh air snd a walk, and the sight of interestingly styled and painted boats. Can't beat it. Looking forward to seeing your cheese-obsessed guest. 😂😂😂.👍
So good to see you out on the water and enjoying the vender boats! I would sell books and hand-painted bookmarks. You, of course, have skills to provide - so important for your fellow boaters! Take care and happy cruising! 🌸
I'm not actually a crafts person - but I imagine doing pottery on a boat should be nice, and selling it on the way is a very nice thought. Realistically (well, if I had a boat) I would do something with distilled alcohol. A Whisky-And-Gin boat or something.
Hi Lorna it’s Paul from Kent lovely video did you eat all the sweets your bought !!!! Well done your channel is so good keep up the great work you are doing
Looking forward to following your adventures with Foxglove. The cutest boat on the canals. 😊
David’s coming for lunch. Will be excited to see the two of you together for a cruise. Thanks for the catch up today.
Can't wait!
I think that David will visit for the sole purpose of helping you to rip all the carpet out of your boat.
@@Phil_Cleaver it's a new boat he can't do that! 😉
I think he’s coming to enjoy seeing you so happy!
He’s obviously coming for the cheese sandwiches. It’s a 🪤.
So lovely to see you so relaxed and happy now that you are on your boat, I am really enjoying this new adventure xx
4:44 - that model with the old lifts is amazing! Beautiful scenery...

So happy that you’ve finally taken possession of your new narrow boat! Enjoy your travels…part time or full time as it may be! 😅

Wild stab in the dark about your cheese sandwich eating friend 🤣🤣🤣
Wallace, definitely Wallace... 🙂
I so miss David on the canals
Me too

looking fantastic who minds a 30 min walk for food with views like that wow i must get back to bingley 3 and 5 rise
... simple Chip Carved wooden wall plaques, with a plain or painted finish ...
Also very happy to see you back and producing content.
Sunny day, by the canal, fresh air snd a walk, and the sight of interestingly styled and painted boats. Can't beat it. Looking forward to seeing your cheese-obsessed guest. 😂😂😂.👍
I would sell pickles of course. I love a good pickle.
I am so happy for you. I wish I had a place as unique as your boat to get away to. I am excited to see all the fabulous, peaceful getaways you have.
if I were to do anything I would have a full machine shop onboard a boat and trade my machining services to other boaters, making hard to find parts
You’d be very popular
Did you see "Albert" in David's latest video?
@@Orxenhorf yes i did, boat envy.
You certainly sound more relaxed and upbeat. Good for you.
So good to see you out on the water and enjoying the vender boats! I would sell books and hand-painted bookmarks. You, of course, have skills to provide - so important for your fellow boaters! Take care and happy cruising! 🌸
It's nice to see you back on the water. Say Hello to David when he stops by. Take care. Till next time.
id resell the junk i have, but nice relaxing video also spotted the pirate boat i watch her channel
If i lived on a boat I'd probably be selling books 😂 on account of I'd be accruing too many and need to deboard them to keep the vessel afloat
First time sheltering from the rain on Foxglove, that's got to be satisfying. 😄
Nice to see a vlog from you look forward to seeing more of your boat, If you don't mind me asking Lorna where do you moor her.
I wonder if your future guest who likes cheese sandwiches is bringing his little yellow boat!?
Last we saw Twiggy she was still on the hardstanding, carpetless.
Really enorna, great to have you and Foxglove back on the water. Take care. xx
So cool! ❤
Give it some time sis, we're all still watching.
good see you at the boat on the cut keep up the vlogs nice market you wear at thanks lee
Love Foxton Locks.
Great video, thanks for some of the history Lorna Jane
WOW what a relaxing visit. Perhaps you should consider a little folding bike for those town runs
I have one
Great to see you enjoying Foxglove, will you eventually live on her? I would sell books😀💜☯️📚
Big shoutout to the lockies and helpers who made our trip down the locks a positive experience :)
You could sell marmalade, in all colours, and of course pink 🩷
I'm not actually a crafts person - but I imagine doing pottery on a boat should be nice, and selling it on the way is a very nice thought.
Realistically (well, if I had a boat) I would do something with distilled alcohol. A Whisky-And-Gin boat or something.
Obviously, if you sold stuff from a boat it would be The Rainbow Lolly Company.
You need a folding electric scooter for trips to the shop.
I have a bike but haven’t had the chance to bring it up yet
Brilliant 👍
Great Video😊
I would have a mobile pharmacy
brilliant vlog
Cheese Wessel is coming can't wait😅.
🤗❤️👍
Not exactly trading but experience days / half days. Few hours and a few locks in each direction.
Hi Lorna it’s Paul from Kent lovely video did you eat all the sweets your bought !!!! Well done your channel is so good keep up the great work you are doing
Some of them made it back to the boat but not many
Popcorn!
Great idea!
I would put a small lock smith shop on a boat, everyone has a key they forget to get copied. stick to the most basic of boat and house keys
Once you hang a picture and paint a wall, you'll change.
Needs a few wee indoor plants, ye boat hasne color.
Don't forget the onions
Hows your BSS training doing Lorna?
I was just about to ask what happened to the BSS career. Update please Lorna…
nice dave come chesse sandwich great video
You should of shown the food you bought and taste tested it would promote the boaters business otherwise this was a boring vlogg.
I would sell seeds. I collect them, breed them and grow them. I have over 16,000 types of seeds so far...
