2:30 I dunno why it works for people, I need to have DHCP enabled otherwise it fails, as in it can't find server. I am using VMWare, so its even more of a mystery that TFTP running on *it* (Windows 10) , i would of thought that would be handled by VMWare.... It does log which is good,, but ends up with "The specified file cannot be found" DO you need to extract contents from ISO image? because i already tried that...
sorry. i am not sure how to get 3.3 volt - may be you are going too deep into the layer 1. Hope someone else see this in my channel can help answer your question.
if you are running a commercial tftp then yes. but not for test environemnt ans such. Normally in corporate setting, we run tftp on a linux bos that is used for other purpose also. In this case this linux box serve multiple purpose we allocate more cpu and memory on vm settings. As you know VM is very common and you can dynamicaly allocate memory and cpu on the fly based on needs. VM monitoring tells you if a server is running high on reseouces or not. Hope this helps.
Can you do the same for a VOIP phone where you would point the phone to your laptop to receive it's firmware instead of retrieving it from the cloud?

turn off your firewall and try again
Don't reboot your switch after you removed the ios. If you do it will boot in rommon mode and that's a whole different animal .
Yes. If you remove the OS you need to have different OS in place before you reboot for sure.
