But now I just think, 'Well, we are learning more and more all the time about how smart animals are, and discovering how much more they are capable of doing than we previously thought. So, what's the harm in talking to them a lot?' I can't seem to think of a good reason not to. If they understand our words more than we currently realize, then, that is all the better! And if they don't, well then, at least they are being mentally stimulated as they try their best to figure out whst we are saying. 🤣 And at least our talking to them makes them aware that we notice them and we care about them. ❤

I lost my beautiful Bella this morning. I rescued her from a fighting ring 9 years ago. Her 7 years with me were the best. Watching Jamie and Sherpa gives me joy and peace. They love each other so much. A strong bond. I love watching. Love the new house too.❤❤❤😊😊
Our oldest dog's food bowl sits on an 8 inch tall box so she can eat without strain on her legs, back and hips. Just one of the ways to help our 16 year old baby girl have a good life. She does get suppliments to help her get around as well.

When he sees the water there is no stopping him and he does it like a big grown boy.❤ He's so focused. Then a stop for a long walk in the moor before heading home for dinner. The size wasn't the problem. It wasn't a constrictor, it was an Adder - Britain's only venomous snake. If Sherpa had been bitten - he wouldn't have made it to a vet in time !

Jamie when I lived in South Africa I was bitten by a snake when we were in the bush in the Kruger Park walking with no shoes and I still have the pain. Also got a spider bite on the same foot but I just take an antihistamine with chlorphenamine and I get through it. Sherps is a different boy these days. ❤

There are no venomous snakes in England. The adders are really shy. I've never seen one in real life and I live in a rural area.
We've had adders move into our local nature reserve this summer and multiple dogs have been bitten. Good save Jamie 👏
