Thanks you so much! I am super happy that it did. I knew that the Kinetic Sand grabs great detail, but I didn't know it would work so well with Chocolate.
Nice!!! I bought some kinetic sand just for doing this. Zinc flows well into the mold and get's good detail from the sand. The only problem I have is, the sand I got from wally world and it is not as soft as it should have been. Looked around for a recipe for this, turns out you need fine sand, oil, and flour or cornstarch to make this. Good video!!!
Thanks Don! I definitely would like to see what you come up with pouring zinc. I tried making it myself, and nothing is like the original. Buy the real stuff off Amazon. You won't regret it. 👍
My daughter has had some kinetic sand it just feels weird. I have not used it for casting yet, but maybe someday. Awesome pours. It showed better detail then I thought it would.
Yes but only for 1 sides molds like I do on this video. However, silver and gold is a hotter metal then what I am using. It will burn the sand and you won't be able to reuse it
Cool project! You seemed to know exactly how much metal was needed to pour out each time. Did you estimate weight, melt more than needed, then have some left over? The torch thing was smart, how did you know that would make more detail come out?
I had so much fun doing it. I like Casting with Kinetic Sand using pewter. Pewter is really easy to pour and heavy. I didn't know exactly how metal was needed. The fluidity of the metal makes it so you don't over pour. Yeah the torch was to make sure there was no metal popping out because of the chocolate residue. Thank you so much for watching and commenting 🙏💯🔥🔥
@ 2:30 😆 🤣 😂
Right?
Another awesome video
Glad you enjoyed it
I am glad you didn’t waste the chocolates, that would be sacrilege!! LOL! Awesome pours buddy, you’re the champ 👍🏻👍🏻😊✌🏻
You got that right! Haha I only ate the one. The other 2 are still sitting in my garage hahah
@@HeinrichsMade what!?!?! 😂😂
Wow. Those turned out great. Look at those details. That kinetic sand works great
Yeah I love using this stuff for open pour molds. It captures great detail.
Stuff works good. thats coool. good stuff bud. cheers
Thanks Steve! Yeah this is quality sand for making small stuff with low melting temp, heavy metals l. Good to see you 👍
They turned out so well!

It does feel weird haha, definitely try it using her sand. The pours come out great with pewter.
I still haven't gotten around to trying that sand. One day! Great video
It works so great with low melting temp metals
Buen casting mi amigo🔥💥
Thank you my friend 💯💯💯🔥🔥🔥
Now I just want chocolate. 😂 Nice vid, man. Love the mustache!
Yeah, chocolate is so good 👍 🔥. Thanks! I'm keeping the mustache for a little bit. It's definitely not staying. Haha
Nice never thought of using chocolate bars lol
Heck yeah! Just don't use warm sand. 😂😂
Can I use molded Silver, Copper to get design here in kinetic sand ?
Yes but only for 1 sides molds like I do on this video. However, silver and gold is a hotter metal then what I am using. It will burn the sand and you won't be able to reuse it
@@HeinrichsMade thank you for your bold information. I can understand.
