What I found that's really helpful in getting that blue tinted metal/armor is just use Army Painter's Blue tone ink with a bit of lahmian medium, water or even quickshade wash mixing medium. Their blue is more of a lighter/standard blue whereas I feel citadel's Drakenhof Nightshade is much too dark. At least that what works for me.
This video was very helpful. I learned a lot from the way you highlighted the cloth on the horse. Definitely will need to try this as I struggle with wet blending.
