I am no slouch with computers. I am about to setup a raid 1 configuration using windows. My question if you know... If one drive fails, does windows notify the user if drive failure has occurred? I have searched the internet for the question. But answers usually date back to windows 7. A simple test would be to unplug one of two drives. However i don't have the drives just yet. I was hoping to find someone with any insight into this scenario.
When you open Disk Management window, you can see if one drive has been failed or not (diskmgmt.msc) You can also see in windows log event viewer as well.
very clear video, thanks man
