- In this video, I show how to make light cure denture in just a few min this is not ideal for chewing food is just for emergency situation. Light cure acrylic is normally used at the laboratory for custom tray materials, not exactly for dentures.

For 18-20yrs I'm still using temp. plates ; it was never explained properly! Bottom plate is split in 2pcs since 2017

Brand new to your channel. Do you have suggestions (or links) on where to get the material needed to make this? You say that you can buy the "light cure" sheet online . Is that the actual name of the product or is it called light cure because you need a UV light?Where do you get the teeth? I'm on disability, in otherwords, very low income but make $25 too much in order to get medicaid or any kind of assistance. I'm in desperate need of dental work! (I haven't even gotten the extractions done yet, which I anticipate costing at least $2000) I don't have the ability to afford dentures and have no idea of what I'll do once I've gotten my teeth pulled out.Thank you in advance
Keep as many of u teeth as possible, do u know about gum and jawbone recession when lots of teeth gone.....look into root canals, crowns ....I had a awful dentist remove teeth that I now know could have been saved and now terrified that over time as I'm only 36 now that I can become denture cripple due to the fact u gums never stop receding and when not enough ridge left be in trouble..... particularly the lower jaw.....don't trust dentists nowadays the just remove coz it easier and no materials necessary xxxx

@@chantellevidal7662 yes, I have knowledge (though limited) of bone loss. My situation is due to medical condition that impedes spinal fluid along with medication. I can't afford the options that you speak of. I was going to the dental college (which are just about as expensive as standard dentist and to whom I'm still paying off. I don't have any dental insurance. My teeth are basically literally disintegrating. I only have 3 upper molars. 1 was a crown that broke off at the gum line. Another that the filling fell out of because the dental college drilled/filled so many times and spots...all that's left is the outer rim of what used to be a tooth. And a bicuspid tooth (think that's what it is) that is decaying rapidly...etc etc etc
@@1wascallywabbit so sorry, I understand money being an issue, I'm saving for implants and it gonna take years and years... The dentures I been wearing last 10ish years are called temporaries they basic as in no gum contouring but who's gonna see that anyway!!! They look realistic on and as long as good fit which they should be they fine, here in UK thats what we get on NHS if u pay it's about £300 I think for whole set but private £500 for each upper and lower...it's gotta be similar price in America.....you don't need fancy top notch dentures and the acrylic/plastic ones work, u can eat talk and smile......Are you in pain with the tooth that used to be a crown if not and u still have just cement it back on, if not u can buy crowns on eBay cheap, ucan even buy the filling materials!!!
@@chantellevidal7662 luckily, I'm not in pain other than my tongue rubbing and scratching on the sharp ridges. The couple of times that I did experience pain, I used a prescription mouthwash and it went away.
I do still have the crown but the crown didn't just fall off...its the one that broke off completely at the gum. I still have the filling that fell out, but that hole has double now. Guess I should have tried gluing in right after it happened but it never crossed my thoughts to attempt something like that

Tried this and the chemical taste from the material is horrible. I bought a curing light, but I didn't seem to do much. Putting it outside in direct sunlight seems to cure it, but the chemical taste is a killer. Also it's about impossible to do a trial fitting. I couldn't find the equal to this. Was hoping you answered some of this. I even boiled the cured denture and couldn't get rid of it chemicals.
