I love the tonic shower gel from Clarins utterly gorgeous I have it in my shower as well ❤❤❤❤❤. My favourite eye primer is the Clarins beauty flash, they do have eye revive beauty flash but with the other u can do your face and eyes 😊
Thank you for including some reviews. I have been wondering about some of the new body washes at Target so appreciate the reviews. Have you tried the Smashbox eye shadow primer? I like that one. It doesn’t crease on me.
My favourite mascara for lift, separation and no smudging is the ilia limitless mascara. I am using the rare beauty one right now and its gorgeous as well but it does transfer little flakes for me which is a bummer but I bought it so I am going to use it. I am slowly learning to love my nars cream bronzer in laguna. It was one of those purchases where I wasn't sure but its so natural on the skin once I figured out the right brush. Oh and two oldie but goodie skincare items for me are the ren glycolic acid mask and the Paula's choice 2% bha toner. I used the ren mask tonight and forgot how good it is. A runner up is the tatcha rice polish - it lasts forever and honestly is so effective but gentle.
i love that you've grown to love the NARS laguna bronzer! sometimes i just takes a bit of experimentation to figure out how something works for you. i did try that ilia mascara before and loved it. will need to revisit because the Caliray has been a total bust
Elizabeth Mott thank me later eye primer is one I discovered through an ipsy sample many years ago and I've reordered several through Amazon in Canada. It's been really good on my hooded lids with keeping everything in place. It's light, and a little goes a long way. No creases even at the end of day. My skin is really enjoying La Mer products too, I'm currently using the lotion.
Soooo enjoy watching your videos on Sunday afternoons ☺️ especially these ones and the anti haul ones - you help me realize how much makeup and skincare I already own and that I should just shop my stash😅 I just ordered the Bioderma oil now, it is nice to have shower oils in the winter and a more affordable one than the Loccitane one 🤩
Hi Sandra ! Very interesting as usual! I really enjoy the Augustinus Bader skincare line . I have mature , normal skin with wrinkles and my skin loves these products . I use the essence, the eye cream , the serum and the rich moisturizer as a night time routine (or the Tatcha silk cream). For the day time I use the Tatcha essence, the Timeless 20% Vitamin C ( I have very sensitive skin and no irritation at all with this product) , the Timeless Coenzyme Q10 serum, Timeless Matrixyl Synthe’6 serum and the Tatcha water cream. I use Tatcha SPF 50 too. Have a great Sunday 🌸
your routine sounds fantastic!! thank you so much for sharing. I love knowing what other people are enjoying and using. It’s so great that you’ve found products that deliver and give you good results. It’s what it’s all about ❤️ definitely adding both of those essences on my list to check out once I use up the La Mer
It’s so funny - I had a bottle of the BR eye makeup remover and it was awesome but I replaced it yesterday and it stung a bit, which is didn’t do before. I wonder if they changed the formula? I haven’t tried the micellar tho so I will give it a chance. It’s true that some BR products are expensive and not special but several are amazing - I love the vivant and visolastine masks, all the P50s, and many of the creams. So glad to hear your thoughts and hope you’ll explore more of their line and let us know what you think. 💕
it’s so strange because it doesn’t sting all the time, only sometimes 😅 they did reformulated a bunch of things over the last couple of years so it’s quite possible that they changed this too!
Good morning Sandra. When it comes to cleansers I tend not to spend expensive prices for a product that only spends seconds on the skin so actives really can't be effective. I'd rather buy a product where the actives have time to penetrate the skin, like with overnight products. I don't wash my skin in the morning because I do a very thorough cleanse at night. I usually spritz a hydrating toner and then apply my serums, essences etc... I am older and have norm/combo skin. I agree with you about the Nars eye primer. I tried it years ago and repurchased last year and found that it did nothing. I've been using the Ulta matte cream eye primer which dries down quickly and has a slight skin tone tint to hide veins, and I have found my eye shadow remains intact all day. I use the Caliray mascara and have found that my lashes have volume and lift all day. I think if you have really straight lashes it would be hard for any product to hold them up I think. I could be wrong of course. What is your favorite skin balm these days? Looking forward to spring suggestions. We haven't had any Pepper sightings lately.
Thanks for sharing your tips and insights!! You make a great point regarding investing in actives and the products with ingredients that will do the heavy lifting in our skincare routines. I’ve been sharing more of Pepper on her separate Instagram account because I don’t want to spam my followers with too much dog content 😆😆 but she is doing well, loving life and playing lots of fetch!!
Yay! I'm glad you (almost) like the MAC Prep and Prime Eyeshadow Primer! I also have deep-set, oily lids and it's the only one that even comes close to controlling creasing. The less you use, the better, I've found.
I use concealer that was too drying for my under eyes as my eye lid primer. They work amazingly. Right now I’m trying to use concealers that didn’t work for my under eyes and not just toss them away. For fragrances I seriously think you would love Henry Rose - Char. Most of her fragrances are woodsy. I also love the Queens and Monsters. Where I work in the medical field we are not allowed to wear overpowering fragrances but the Henry Rose has been my work fragrance because I feel naked without a fragrance. I love the Necessaire products.
Bioderma and Necessaire body washes are always in my shower too. I also repeat buy the Necessaire deodorant. My repeat purchases for face wash are the La Roche Posay cream and gel formulas. The 400ml bottles last forever and you can always get them for less than $20. I know gel face wash isn’t popular with the beauty community but I find the LRP one takes off all my makeup and isn’t drying. I prefer the cream one in the morning to remove with a cloth to give my face a gentle exfoliation. For HA serums I’m honestly impressed with The Ordinary one and I always go back to Estée Lauder ANR. I’m looking forward to getting some new spring scents. You’ve influenced me to get Bitter Peach. It’s just divine and unique. I’ve got a sample now, but it’s so much cheaper in Europe I’m waiting until I’m there in May to get the full bottle. Have a great week!
I was a diehard LRP Physiological Cleansing Gel fan and was so sad when it got discontinued. The Toleriane one is nice too. I have never tried the cream one so will have to check it out. I love playing around and trying different cleansers!
I just discovered Cremo Palo Santo but I still think Harry’s Fig is my husband and my favorite! The texture is just a thicker juicier gel more similar to the Frenshe
That's so funny - I was just catching up on this podcast I listen to called Eyewitness Beauty and one of the hosts, Annie, mentioned Proraso too! I think this is my sign to try it out! ♥
omg yes!! I tried the soft services body wash that she talked about too and it was fine as a body wash but I didn’t like it for shaving at all. much prefer the Bioderma oil or the proraso
So funny to see a Proraso product here, it’s a very old brand! The logo and packaging design haven’t changed in decades, which is a testament to how good the products must be if they don’t need to change anything about them/the brand!
I have a really good mascara moment. I bought the Thrife in black/brown - I love the softer look without it being a red-brown. The other one is the tower28 one. These are not for a lot of volume, so stay away if you prefer that. But they are good for length and a curl
Re Caliray Mascara - YES!! I went through a few tubes and loved it. The one I am using now is lousy. I've been layering with the Dior Maximizer and it's better. I have a back up tube, not sure what I am going to do with it.
I found the Caliray mascara disappointing because it flaked and did not hold a curl. I went through one tube and was so glad when I was finished with it 😆
I love the Chantecaille foundation, and I’ve found a decent (not perfect, but pretty close) shade match. However, I worry about how much oxygen the product is exposed to every time I open that wide-mouthed jar-and that makes me almost hesitant to reach for it because I’m worried about it going bad. I wish they would explore a different type of packaging. But I do love it. I should just use it more while it’s still good, and not worry about it so much.
Yes please enjoy it to the fullest while it’s fresh ❤️ I do wonder if they will explore other packaging options - I was always afraid I would spill it all over my lap lol
This really is an all-star series from you. I look forward to these videos so much!
I really enjoy doing them, even though finding a place to store all the empties can drive me crazy LOL
@@ttsandra haha yes I love throwing stuff out after using it, its so satisfying!
I use Bioderma Atoderm oil also as a cleansing oil to remove makeup/SPF - works like a charm
Oooh great tip thanks for sharing!
your har/makeup/everything looks SO PERFECT HERE
Thank you so much!!
One of my favourite videos to watch I always look for it on Sunday mornings
Glad you enjoy it! Thanks for watching 💕💕
Always check your videos on empty products! Especially love to know by what they were replaced by.
Glad you like them! I enjoy filming them 🥰🥰🥰

I am sure I will, I ordered the jumbo size right away 😃

Too Faced 'Shadow Insurance' eyeshadow primer is amazing! I would definitely try if you want to prevent creasing.
I tried that before and sadly it didn’t work for me

I use their unscented version under my arms and it has helped with sensitivity. It's a beautiful cream formula! Nordstrom carries it.

I am UPSET!!! lol
I got a points trial size of the Caliray mascara from Sephora. Tossed it. After curling lashes as usual, it took the curl right out.
I am so sorry to hear this!! the first tube I had of this mascara was so magical I am disappointed that it’s inconsistent
How quickly did the Chantecaille foundation go bad? (I better use mine!) 😮
Packaging says it’s good for 12 months after opening for me I noticed it started smelling bad at about the 16 month mark!
I found the Caliray mascara disappointing because it flaked and did not hold a curl. I went through one tube and was so glad when I was finished with it 😆
It’s so annoying because the first tube I had was so amazing and then the one I repurchased was a total flop
