Glad everyone is safe. We experienced the worst after Super Cyclone Amphan. We did not have power for 27 hours and no water for 4 days, no internet or mobile network. But some regions suffered much worse and there was no electricity for 15 days or more in some places. So many trees uprooted, so much damage....you guys stay safe. It seems to have passed without huge damages.

Thats the problem with electric stoves. When i moved to a new house i made sure i have gas cooking range. You can buy a small stove that runs in gas for emergency use. No electricity cant even warm food in microwave...

Quite a mess there! Hurricane supposed to land right on Carolinas yesterday but didn't affect us that much inland. 5 people dead in north east coast though. We got rain for about 15 mins, that's it. You should keep a portable camping gas stove for emergency cooking since you have electric range. I made Gobi Pulao today. Asked husband to buy cabbage, he got me Cauliflower! 🤣🤣

yes, this hurricane also crazy in Massachusetts. and also electricity went to 2 days. I thought that what are we going to eat? so, at last, we ate leftover food like you. and I thought the same as you that I make on the grill but that wind and rain was so heavy also no battery in the phone or laptop. I was the crazy hurricane. also, was massy too.

I can understand Ur situation. We went through such situation in the month of May,during Amphan. But Payel,1thing I wanna suggest that get a gas connection for Ur kitchen. Every year such thing happens, so let's not depend on electricity.
