That’s not normal people that’s probably the camshaft adjusters faulty can cause this noise on start up if ignored will cause timing correlation codes eventually

Mine has the same. Should be normal. So far no problem in engine after 30 months/47000km.

same here! that's because of direct injection pump after start when cold. That's normal I also have A Bmw E84 with N20 engine and the sound is even worse

Der Motor macht keine Probleme, jetzt bald 111.000km hört sich genauso an wie im Video oder Vll noch etwas lauter.

Make sure you check the cables often to the sensors, they leak oil ( when the seal is broken ) through the entire harness ending up with oil in the ECU! Major issues then with the entire motor electronic, thermostat and lambdas!

На 36 секунде свист из-за не прикрученного выпускного коллектора. Иногда обламывает крайнюю шпильку. Проверьте затяжку коллектора. Очень частая проблема, но никто ее не упоминает.
