Juliet is explained in the books. She sees the play as a child and is told she was named after the character. The actress from the play gave her a copy of the script and silos Juiiet used it for her mechanical notes, flipping it over and writing on the back of the pages.
Just finished the third book last night. I found the final half of the book to be rushed, with a load of unanswered questions/rushed conclusions (loved the books overall tho). I think that it's good that the TV show is diverging and that I think I prefer the characterizations in the show than the book.
Unless I read it wrong, Solo's father was not IT Head of Silo 17. He was shadow to IT Head. From the book chapter 69 Silo 17 2312 Week One, "Is this Jerry? Or Russ? Run was his dad. Jerry was his dad's boss. This would make Jerry IT Head,
@@craigozancin yeah the head got killed in the melee, prompting his dad to take shelter in IT. The plan was to get the whole family in but only Jimmy survived while his dad was trying to get the rest in.
seems to me that next season and maybe towards the end of this season we will start getting into book 2 and the origin of the silos. I imagine they will flip back and forth from present to past revealing what happened leading to the silos being created. but not fully going into the past , Juliette will still be in most if not all the episodes. Lots will be happening in the next few episodes. Juliette contacting Silo 18. A huge power flip in silo 18. (although it might go down differently than the books) and an awakening in a silo we haven't seen yet.
Having read the books, I find the series very frustrating at times, This is especially concerning Lucus and the ongoing trials in IT that lead to the surprise at the end of Wool.

I feel like they changed a lot of the book story regarding Lucas
It’s a great adaptation so far!
Juliet did not request to go outside, do you even watch the show? She was FORCED OUT
Came to the comments to say exactly this. It's not a nitpick; it's a key plot point! 2:48

i like the videos but is it just me or is that transition "whoosh" sound really annoying?
