Yea lately I very been losing interest in the channel not cause of the host but because of the content released I'm just not interested in those I'm more interested in pop culture things like the enterprise or the infinity gauntlet
Don't mate!! I bought the first six months... then cancelled!! It is awful...panel gaps all over the place ... a mishmash of wires...stupid little windows that are only there to fill in time!! It is not good!!!
It was Wayne who got me to sub to the enterprise d. So obv I blame him for all the bull that's happened with it haha. I now have all the parts I need I just need to repair the damage done over 2 years + of storage. I was one of the first preorders for the thing!
Right at 9:20 on the video it looks like maybe there is a wire that is getting pinched on the other side of the corba neck. It's on the side that was finished already. It's close to the impulse engine.
Hi wayne was wondering if you are going to do the Vader build will follow that one closely waiting for my first delivery hopefully it’s as good as it looks luv the channel keep up good work baz
I'm up to issue 16, so far biggest problem I've had is the horrible battery boxes failing. I actually taught myself to solder and fixed it myself as fanhome who's managing the build sales in America takes forever to ship replacements. Also I'm currently searching for the correct orange paint for the nacelle. Ive got one shipped translucent and the other painted orange. Fanhome refused to fix anything previously shipped by eagle moss.
Wayne - thank you for these videos. Two questions! 1. At times, have you had any issues with AP screws not holding? I have had that and had to use super glue. 2. Has the light block tape caused any gap issues? If so, how did you deal with it. I just finished stage 3 and when I put two panels together, they would not lie flush. You are awesome and can't wait for issue 11.
I actually enjoy building this, just that I'm still waiting on pack 8 and numerous delays in getting packs for this will make this a 10 year build at this rate. Factory for this must be a mess as I don't have this issue with most other builds. Anymore, I actually prefer getting builds all in 1 pack, like Pocher or others.
Hey Wayne, I have a question for you. If you are able to get me copies of the NCC 1701 Enterprise-D kits and send them to me, I will pay you for all the kits and shipping because I live in Canada. I can't get the model kits at all
Just a couple of gapingly obvious observations here, there are some really ugly screw heads showing on the bottom of the cobra neck and the switch would have looked better if it was in the base for the model rather than sticking out the side of the ship like that without attempting to disguise it by at least matching the colour with the ship.
@@mcarp555 I'd extend the power supply wires to the base and put the switch in there then fill and paint the hole where the switch was. That's the OCD perfectionist in me I think.
@@milanondrak5564 That's a workable solution. I'd also favour shaving down the switch until it was smooth and nearly flush with the hull. Then paint it to match. If you could do it well enough (and I couldn't), it would barely be noticeable.

Hurray! The much neglected Enterprise D is back! This is the build that brought me to this channel years ago. It's been quite a journey.

Love this build, I really hope they open this up to us Aussies :)

I am on stage 3 and still cannot get my Q powers to work. 😂 Great build.
Just finished issue 17 over New Years. As Wayne says... it can be a bit fiddly, especially the lower saucer panels. Nice job so far Wayne
It's great to see this again. Did notice you have a pinched wire in the cobra neck, though.
Doh
@@WorldofWayneUK i was about to say the same thing on the wire.

Even though i do not have this build, this is a very therapeutic watch
Hi Wayne I should be receiving my Darth Vader packs this month looking forward
Nicely done Wayne, looking really good mate.
Wayne if you pause the video at 7:58 you will see you have a pinched wire the other side of the cobra neck to which you are working on.
Yep. I saw it now. Thanks Nick
@@WorldofWayneUK No problem

I got it ☺️
Yay finally another one. 🙂
You have a wire pinched in the cobra neck on the one side looks like a red wire
Are you going to do something to alleviate the light bleed around the cobra neck running lights? Had to get creative with electrical tape to fix mine.
I already did. I used tulip fabric paint. I demonstrated it in the last video I think
Great build and build 🐕🐕🙏💞🍺💪👍🇦🇺
There is a pinched wire on the left hand side of the cobra neck, might want to fix it before it causes damage. 🙂

@@JasonKahn I'm surprised they actually responded to you
@johnenoch6877 they have a WhatsApp support line and it's been fairly good

I haven't yet but will see as I go through the build
Have you caught up to where you were with the first attempt on this before the warp core breached?
I think I got to issue 21 last time
@ heard rumor that there might be a Lego version of the NCC 1701-D in the works for this year.
@@naf821 yep
Do you have any plans to finish the la ferrari or have you binned it all together
I will do but not just yet

I haven't seen that one

I can't do that I'm afraid.
@WorldofWayneUK how come I am just wondering

I think you'll find the screws are later covered by stick-on panels.
@@mcarp555 And the ugly visible switch sticking out of the side?
@@milanondrak5564 Sorry, can't help you with that. I think some people have tried to paint it so it won't stick out so much.
