I was just thinking, "Wow, those dirt daubers were stacking dimes!" and there goes Puddin saying they were practicing for their state welding test stacking bead on bead! hahaha I may have got too excited when I saw that you posted this a minute before, and changed my whole next hour plans. Hot Damn! Just had a thought, if you took the sleeves you cut off and autographed them, you could auction or gift them as neck gaiters, or hair scarves for the ladies when they have a bad hair day. My ex-wife used to wear my old sleeves on her head when she would do house work, wash the cars, or go out to mow the corn field, or lay another concrete driveway. Just kiddin, we didn't have a corn field.

13:00 LMAO Just last week I went to Napa in search of a new belt. Being that I kept the old cardboard belt holder from Napa for the part #, I just walked in the store with it. As the gal behind the counter top asked me if I needed any help, I told her "Yeah I just bought this belt, but the belt is missing". Pure silence & confusion for a solid 30 seconds as her brain was trying to connect the dots on how this could happen...? 🤣 Just a bit of harmless fun... At 42:44 I noticed your outer brake pads are NOT pinched to the caliper. It needs to be, especially if it will be a road warrior. Not doing so allows the pad to ride on the rotor and overheat and cause brake fade and possibly a wreck... Simply wedge your pry bar between the rotor and pad forcing the pad tight against the caliper. Then squeeze the top and bottom tabs against the outer side of the caliper Once tight you are all set.. No rattle and no overheating.. Well, as long as the calipers and hoses and sliders are all in good shape!!
Steve's tech tip of the week!!! ;)

That's a good little truck. You scored on that one. This one would definitely be worth fixing up since you got it for free and didn't spend much getting it to run.

I don't mean to blow you up with comments, I've been in the hospital over 6 weeks and I'm catching up. But I forgot to add, check that 350 in that GMC being in a truck it could be a four bolt! If you don't keep the truck it could make a good Driveline for that old project you've been talking about. Doubt it came with a title.
More I think about it , it's just meant to be . You talking about doing that old project before winter and you just found a four-bolt th400 12 volt Drive Line without a title , I feel it . You get me, get her done.
Parked at GMC shell in the back, and when you're done put the motor out of that big 2-ton with a quarter ton rear end in it down inside. Hell I might just become the manager, LMFAO.

Pss. Lucas only. Never put nothing that thin in your oil. What I do is get some seafoam and take off the vacuum line to the brake booster and suck it up into it while you give it gas watch out for the white smoke but it will clean that thing out. Don't put it in the gas or you'll just clog up your fuel filters for a month.
What I do is give it gas and suck the first half down and when it gets towards the bottom choke out the motor and let it flood out sucking into the brake booster vacuum and let it sit for 15 minutes before you restart it. Like I said they will be white smoke like crazy, we'll make an awesome video but I trust you you will clean them valves and everything out like you don't even know. I heard that from seafoam. Also works good with the red Mystery Oil.

Puddin there's a trick I learned like 15 years ago when I worked in the quick lube take a shop vac and put it sucking on the valve cover fill hole and pull the drain plug and it won't let any out unless you break the suction and let out what you want thank you for making great content... Love the videos

Since you asked, I vote you make that a nice hotrod/ shop truck. With very little $ the 350 can be woke up big time, Maybe a slick paint job and you got a nice truck that would be alot of fun. IMHO. Great video! ✊️
