- I am back on the GOLD at this Beach. Brad, Mike and I metal detected The Wedge on the first day of the first large swell of the season. I found a couple of pieces of silver and one small gold chain using my Minelab Equinox 900.

tumble in stainless steel jewelry media, with a just enough water to cover coins and add CLR or Toilet cleaner like lime away. Slow tumble to an hour or so. Thank You 👍

CKG Scoop WYDI is a twist off bottle screw cap. Nice hunt Jim. I never have much luck at the Wedge. I'll have to try during ultra low tide. I've had a lot of luck with fresh drops at HB. This is a good sign that the "depositors" are returning. See you on the beach! Steve in HB.
Success at the Wedge is all about beach structure changes, Larger the Cut the better. Sometimes you can have a good cut one day and gone the next. great answer, Thank you! 😎👍

For the beach scoop I would say that it's a quarter. You dug a B, then a Bead hhhmmm. Question for you sir. You said that the chain sounded horrible correct? Do you like the Nox 800 or the new 900 for chains?
I really have confidence in the 900 but the 800 is good too! Both would have found that chain.

You guys have a regular club!!!! I used to buy lunch every Sunday out of the park find quarters of the day metal detecting the park where I lived. I do miss it some, live in Thailand now and am not sure of the regulations on beach detecting and Thai laws are quite flexible todays "hey man that is totally cool" is tomorrows "You are committing a crime against humanity" so I just walk around and look a lot at the local beach. The "B" is from a keychain. It represents Bentley, but it's not made by Bentley. My "would you dig it" guess is a bottle cap with gold foil.
