Fun fact: Iula is the widowed wife of Atreus' (the guy we know as Pantheon) brother-in-arms, Pylas.
Pylas climbed Mount Targon with Atreus but didn't make it. Sometime after the climb, a freshly-stabbed-by-Aatrox Atreus stayed in Iula's abode until he could fight again. A long time after, he returned to Iula, asking if she wants to fight the powerful beings that took her husband; she agreed without hesitation.

If I remember correctly he returns to her not after becoming an aspect but after Pantheon's death at Aatrox hands

He knows and believes gods(aspects) exist. He acknowledges gods and just thinks being a MAN is far superior to mere gods, which is more badass than any believer or nonbeliever can dream to be

He will die on turn 5 to young witch and fleetfeather tracker or laurent protege. If needed, there are sharpsight and twin disciplines to make sure that he dies. Sad but true.
I love how some champions have their own group of acolytes/followers/friends. It makes them seem more like people living in their own world.
In LoL, few voicelines ever refer to characters that aren’t also champions in the game, so it feels like the characters barely exist outside of very limited interactions.
I'd love to see Aatrox after him. That will be a great battle

Pantheon's theme still the coolest ever among every league champions man, literal chills every time I hear it.
It's very important to keep in mind that once he levels up, he's stuck with the keywords given to him until he dies. When you summon a new Pantheon, that's when he gets new keywords
There's a chance that you get multiple Impact keywords
Also, most of the retreat cards count as a target.
@@cye2310 yeah, but I think that's very unlikely since you have to get at around 15+ rounds of targeting allies in order to have multiple Impact stacks HAHAHA
@@cye2310 no there isn't. The way random kw works is, you get impact once, then you get everything else you can get, and only then it starts stacking.

@@felipesoaresspiess8048 No cap. There's a short story where it's heavily implied that Atreus fought Xerath. And Xerath would have won, if one of Atreus' cannon fodder followers didn't tank a blast from Xerath. It doesn't say who won tho, it just ends after that.

Im haunted by this creation everyday. The fact some nights are sleepless and all I can think about is how this video sent me into a downwards spiral. If Riot were to put Atreus' sworn enemy into the game, Aatrox, what region would he be?
Would he be from Shurima, as he once were an Ascended who was corrupted by the war against the Void?
Or perhaps Targon, as few know his origins and he hunts for the godly Aspects of Targon? This would be the same case for Aurelion Sol, he has mostly nothing to do with Targon other than bringing down the Aspects.
I would say Shurima, he kinda is an ascended, so more champeons for the sundisc.
Targon or frejord imo. He’s been to both of them recently (targon to kill pantheon, and frejord to kill trynd’s tribe) and both of these regions have the right identity to properly support him, with buffs, overwhelm, and even self harm.
Shurima is the other main place he could go, but IMO he doesn’t quite fit the identity as well as the other two
I'm guessing he'd be with the void/Icathia when they decide to release it

I was expecting something on the lines of "When I level up, summon me from your deck or hand". Would fit his Ult theme so much (I still like what they did btw)
Ooh, for real, it would be even better like this(when I level up, summon me from hand striking all enemies) and then that wall of fire would appear just like his ultimate in LoL.
That would have been real sick, damn, now I wish this would have been his Ult instead..

Don’t forget that just because his own card doesn’t particularly use the mandrop outside of his animation and artwork that doesn’t mean it won’t make an appearance in the future as it’s own spell card.

I've been waiting for this for A LOOOOOOOONG TIME now, and it's finally here, all my mains in LOR
Strong men are only inspiring when they are protective and have strong morals. Everyone looks up to champions like Pantheon and Braum for this reason, while Darius or Trynda.. not so much.
Darius has strong morals and convictions and is a really interesting character in the new lore, though his in game voicelines are outdated and he feels bland because of it. Tryndamere does have very little lore though so we don't know anything about him
