Hi Mitchell! Your videos have been so helpful to me! I recently started a new job that uses Jobber and your videos have been a lifesaver. I have a question that I was hoping you would have the answer to. When I close out a job, it either says "Archived" or "Requires Invoicing." I was wondering how/why does that happen? I'm trying to archive a job but it keeps saying "Requires Invoicing."
This kinda confuses me. Do you not want to get paid for your jobs?! If you create and complete a job, the system requires you to invoice for it. Otherwise, it shouldn’t be created as a job. If you’re not wanting to invoice you should instead create a Task in your schedule.
Hello Mitchell! Thank you for your hard work on the Jobber program. I'm in the process of transferring our company to this soft too ,and have watched all your videos about the Jobber program. Our company is engaged in an irrigation system and sodding, which, in principle, is not very far from your activity. Do you control the inventory in your business? if so, you probably use Jobber to do this by billing clients. If yes, could you make a video about it. That would be very helpful. Thank you!
Question: how would you delete reoccurring jobs? For example let’s say a customer decides they no longer want to do business for whatever reason, but they are on the schedule for every 2 weeks. How would you go about deleting all the future visits ?
Question. How would I delete a job from the calendar screen? It’s a recurring job so it shows up on the calendar but not in the jobs section I wish I could send you a picture 😢
Hello Kate. In the Calendar view all you are seeing is "Visits" that are scheduled based on the Job you created. If you want to delete a Visit for that specific Job then do one of these two things; 1) click on the Visit, Edit, scroll down then Delete; 2) click on the Visit, View Details, More Actions then Delete. This will take care of deleting just a Visit. If you don't the recurring Job listed under the Jobs tab you can always use the Search feature under Jobs, or just go directly to the Client Profile and click on the Jobs tab under Overview. Hopefully this helps.
Only question is with taxing ... my jobber is not letting me sync with my quick books because it's saying something about tax 🙄.. I'm in the cleaning services in Florida and we don't tax house cleaning but we do tax in commercial jobs how can I setup up to only tax the commercial jobs and not the redsaintial Jobs ?
You can retrieve Archived Jobs, but I don't think there's any way to retrieve a deleted Job. You may want to reach out to Jobber's customer support team.
Hey buddy what’s up man I love lawn care guys especially when they hit on your mother when they pull up to do your neighbors yard 😰 man hey was like I been doing this 30 years you been cutting grass and hitting on moms for 30 years ? Man lol they give guys like you a bad name
@@harryspence4562 this channel features all things I’m passionate about. There’s a mixture of lawn mowing, property cleanups, product reviews, equipment maintenance, and Jobber tutorials etc. Every video won’t be for everyone and I’m fine with that. The videos I do on Jobber help current and future users. The video titles are never deceiving; If it’s not something that would interest you, you don’t have to tune in. If you ever have any questions about something I’m happy to help.
Thank you! this still works in 2023, I was scratching my head trying to figure out how to delete all the fake jobs I made for practice.
Glad it could help !!
Thank you so much for this. Very helpful. 🥳
Glad it was helpful!
Great information !
Thanks Ted.

I don't keep inventory on things because I don't sell products. I am service based and only bill my clients on the services I provide them.

Sounds like a great question for the customer service team at Jobber !! I don't tax my services
How do I retrieve a job deleted by accident?
You can retrieve Archived Jobs, but I don't think there's any way to retrieve a deleted Job. You may want to reach out to Jobber's customer support team.

I can't control what other guys do. There's shady folks in all industries. None of the contractors that I associate with do things like that.
bad sorry bye....
Care to elaborate?!
@@mithgo_outdoor my mistake,I thought this was a lawn cutting and cleaning up yards channel......
