UK Level Crossings don't bother telling me about it I see it all the time. Have a look at the Brittania bridge level crossing in wales.despite the fact the police station is less than 20m down the road you have lots of people jumping the lights. And that railway is the Welsh highland which have the 3.5 Ton African garrets pulling a 5 ton train so all of that = car squash , humiliation of the police walking you down the road and blocking the high street

Yeah. You're correct. This crossing and the crossing at Rainham, along the line, have very similar alarms. Crossings that were upgraded in 2006/2007 all have roughly the same yodalarms with similar sounds.

BennamStyle Well, the train which is seen moving slowly in the video came from the depot which is the grey building beside the crossing. I haven't seen a train leave or arrive at the Gillingham depot before.
Ah, more crazy driving at the beginning, should have waited until the van moved further along the road before attempting to pull out so one has a better view of oncoming traffic to the left. The driving test is far too easy. Great video!

Yes, I'm not sure if its the only crossing in the UK with this set-up. There's probably 1 or 2 more to be honest. They were operational in April 2016.
Yes, I remember that incident. Despite there being a footbridge, climbing over barriers are clearly more easier for that old bloke. Did the guy in the car take a video or 4 pictures since I cannot find a video of the incident anywhere.
I've not seen a video, I've only ever seen the pictures which he took when he grabbed his camera. The pedestrian lights were up for a long time before they made them operational
