      freebrickproductions Thanks. This is my very first 4k video on this channel which I'm pleased about. It didn't take very long, about 1 hour or so, to upload this 5 minute video.

      Nice! I'm now able to record in 4K with my new phone so roughly every month there should be 1 Ultra HD video to watch.

    The Victoria train was the 12:43 stopping service (the one that calls additionally at Sole Street, Farningham Road, Swanley, St Mary Cray, and Denmark Hill). The Faversham service is timed at 12:39. The Vic often arrives early in the platform.

      I see. The crossing was lowering every 7 or so minutes and I was quickly glancing at the online timetable to see what trains were crossing.

      UK Level Crossings you see that sign on the signal box

    • @UKLevelCrossingsChannel
      @UKLevelCrossingsChannel  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Are you talking about the "New Level Crossing Control' sign? The level crossing is now an MCB-CCTV type. It's no longer controlled by a signalman in the box.

      @JamesA1984 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      UK Level Crossings the signalling centre is almost as close as the signal box though.

    I think these lights there are actually NRS as I think this crossing was installed about 2004 or 2005 ish when they were called NRS. If you look on the underneath of the lampbulbs (or round ends) there is some sort of an etching saying NRS (that can be another way to find out who made the halogens). You may probably see what I mean here (if you scroll down to the GEC Wigwags part): beno.org.uk/trafficlight/

    • @UKLevelCrossingsChannel
      @UKLevelCrossingsChannel  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Will Scriven Well, it all depends on the exact date that NRS changed to Unipart Rail. This crossing originally had GWE barriers and old GEC wigwags. The newer halogen wigwags were installed in 2006 with the SPX Fluid Power Barriers and yodalarms.

      @FlashingRedProductions 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      UK Level Crossings I think NRS became Unipart in about 2007 as there were still some NRS halogens being installed around 2006 & part of 2007 (like Ashford Bowdler, Leominster, Wellington, Midgham, Whitemoss, etc).

      TheMuteBuild // NewBuildmini Yeah, there were some installed at Bentley Heath and some of the crossings in Ireland too.

    I never knew Unipart Rail made halogen Wig wags!?!?

    • @UKLevelCrossingsChannel
      @UKLevelCrossingsChannel  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      +chuttlely Unipart Dorman / Rail took over National Rail Supplies (NRS) and for a short while still continued with halogen light installations until the LED design came along.

      This 5 minute video took about 1 hour 10 minutes to fully upload and 30 mins after this video finished processing, it will available to watch in 4K. That doesn't sound that bad but I do have a pretty good internet with Virgin Media so..... :P

    • @pickles501
      @pickles501 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      UK Level Crossings No, whilst we arw watching. it lags like shxt

      Southern Trainspotting Well, if your monitor or screen isn't a 4k pixel quality, the video won't play back in that UHD quality. It depends on Internet if the video lags or not. TH-cam videos lag when I try to watch them in 1440p, Quad HD quality.
