Sometime there are cuts in the end/sides of T-shirts. Mostly in polos. How to deal with that because if you cut from bottom then these are gone?
HOT TIPS FOR NEWBIES:
- Leave an extra inch instead of half an inch for the hem. Makes pinning/sewing the new hem a LOT easier and IMO looks better.
- Use the grid on the surface of your sewing machine (to the right of the needle) to keep lines straight.
- If you're using a single needle, do two passes 1/6th inch apart.

Awesome video but I was wondering if you can just do a zigzag stitch with a single needle on a machine? Also, when sewing by hand, in the video are you just doing a straight stitch? I am guessing it is hard to do a zigzag stitch by hand?

Put the pins in the hem the other way. that way you can sew right over the pins without having to take them out as you sew.

BUY A FITTED T-SHIRT AND TRY IT ON BEFORE YOU BUY IT!
Sometimes people lose weight or their body type isn’t the same as the designers template, short torso like this video has as an example. Just cause a shirt is tight to you doesn’t mean it’s fitted.
There are just some shirts that are longer. Plus cotron shirts also stretches overtime
