Its amazing how quality pickups add so much clarity in the neck pickup. Cheap pickups often are super muddy in that neck position. These lambertones have so much clarity.
Big difference for sure. I have a Titan KR2 out for delivery today.....yeah.. not sure what was in there originally, probably SDs of some type. They were swapped out for a pair of Lambertone Cremas. I have to be honest, I had never heard of them until I started searching info. I’m now thoroughly stoked to get it. The Grand Vintage I have in my Starplayer and the SD Seth Lovers in my Heritage 555, are the best MBs I’ve heard tone wise. The clarity is what stands out with the Lambertones.
Late to the party, but looking for upgrades. Particularly because my Roadworn 50s Tele is NOISY with its nocaster and twisted Tele pickups… I’m assuming these aren’t noise cancelling, but are they noisy/hummy?
Great demo, got a tele guitar coming in with these pickups installed mainly a classic and hard rock player can these pickups handle being overdriven pretty hard and still retain there clarity?
Curious about this mod. I have the same guitar and decided to replace the pickups. I had to modify the pick guard and the bridge pickup didn’t quite fit right (the mounting holes didn’t quite line up.) I bought fender twisted tele pickups. Any thoughts or suggestions? Did you guys have the same problem? If so, what did you do to remedy the issues?
Make sure the pickup and hardware cavities are electrically shielded either with guitar shielding paint or copper tape. That won't remove all of the hum given that these are single coil pickups but it will mitigate a lot of it
Plus...it my be bad grounding where your playing. Try another house or building and see. I would do the shielding like the above comment stated also. I hope that will help you.
Hello o want to buy this lambertones blodie but I don't know the sound difference between the “filter cover” version and the normal version, do you know if there is any difference in the sound?
That middle clean tone is why Blondies are being delivered next week.

The pickups cost more than the guitar!!! lOl
Wow. Wow. That intro literally turned my head. Those pickups sound incredible!
Stock the squiers are pretty decent, I dropped Warman Pick ups in mine, cheap as chips but a great sound, those Blondies are smokin though!!!
Amazing!!! Can you please do a strat, triple shot review too?
Holy smokes! Quite literally stunning the difference!
What were the pickup height on these bad boys sounds nice and punchy

That guitar is now $119.99 at GC. Sooze could make anything sound good :-)
Im sold .... Great demo
Really well done demo. Thank you
Souse my my beard was singed while the intro played...

Bill Beard : No one answered, Bill? How did the story end? How did they handle the higher gain stuff? 😁
It’s like the sleeper version of guitars
I like how even the original pickup clips are lower quality then the newer ones. Like those infomercials that make the "before" black and white haha.
Never tell it by this demo
a player like this can make anything sound great. nice pickups, though, on the real
What kemper profile was used in this video??

2:03 - Lamberton[Z], not “lamberton”.
Kurtis named his company and its pickups in plural. 🤷🏻♂️
I installed these on my Mexican tele and I get a lot of hum. How do you avoid that? I’m guessing it’s 60 cycle hum from what I’ve been researching.

Did you ever get this sorted? I’m hoping to get these for my Mexican tele. The pickups are already noisy, so was hoping for these to be quieter

its just the cover on the pickup, i mean maybe theres a difference in sound but i doubt it
The only way to make an accurate comparison is to not make the riff longer than five to ten seconds. Otherwise our mental sound memory is useless.
Wuuf.
Actually prefer the sound of the original pups…
