Bought the rodecaster pro 2 as a goxlr replacement assuming you'd have virtual faders/audio devices by now but it's been almost 2 years and it's no where to be seen. Wish you guys could give us an update on that.
I have a mic, Rode Wireless Pro. But when I record my voice with the mic, I don't find the sound quality like yours. Please tell me what settings you have made on the mic.
Hey there! There are many factors that can contribute to the quality of sound, especially when using omnidirectional microphones. I'd recommend reaching out to our Support Team and they will be able to assist you with your setup 😊 help.rode.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
Dang, no bloopers again! Anyhow, I see what Ryan meant when I was talking to him at NAB about the direction Rode is headed with new products. Just seeing how Rode is releasing this cage is a strong indicator that Rode is jumping in to the mobile market. With the release of the iPhone 15 and how serious they made the codec recording, it makes sense for Rode to head in that direction. More people using phones to create content means more customer base for Rode too. I see what’s down the “Rode. 😂😂😂
Ooooh, waking up to this sort of news, just what I’ve been looking for :) But! (There is always «that guy» right?) Please consider making a version 2 or «pro» version that includes *charging*! See, here’s my scenario, and I think it’s a common enough one: On my channel I shoot stuff in my workshop, some of it talking head stuff as well as b-roll with the phone on a tripod. my Røde VideoMic Go 2 is connected via USB C to my iphone 15 pro max, so the charging port is in use, and after hours of filming the phone needs charging. Having charging built into the stand would make everything so much simpler and useful - of course I do know that it would be a completely different type of product needing all sorts of electronics and what not, but *nobody* is doing this, and at the same time you can buy car chargers for 30 USD that have magnetic mount, charging and you stick it in the ventilation thingy in your car. So currently I’m using one of those jigged to my tripod when doing longer sessions, keeping the usb c port available for my mic. So *please* consider doing a version of this with charging, it would make the setup so much cleaner, and it could even be used on the go with a battery pack on the cage, going into the magnet to charge on the go while filming AND using a shotgun mic or a wireless receiver :) Also: A quality usb c hi-speed splitter to allow the VideoMic Go 2 *and* an SSD to be connected at the same time (while charging via the magnetic stand) would be the ultimate setup :)
You know what's amazing? How you guys lied about a whole rewrite of firmware for the RCP2 and all the features you guys were working on. Insane how updates stopped too.
I’m sorry but it isn’t interesting at all. And it does not offer nothing new… give me a iPhone case with a handle and a way to connect, at the same time, a SSD and a Mic and I would buy it immediately
Look forward to reviewing these on-air
Amazing !! Waiting for RODE to come out with a stabilizer gimbal
If only they would show some love to the RCP 2 and their users and give them the features they promised long-long ago.
Heen is so beautiful and has such a great voice, she could sell a stick as an accessory!
3:06 SSD mount: Tilta SSD Drive Holder for T5
Unstoppable Rode.

Wasn't there a whole roadmap with cool stuff like guitar pedal FX built in? what happened to all that stuff?

Guessing they've run out of different microphones to make awesome. Makes sense.
Wish you returned white versions of microphones 😢
Very cool and necessary.

Thanks for the detailed feedback Andres, we'll pass it onto the team!
@@rodemic Thanks for taking the time to read :) Would love to be able to buy a charging version of the cage for my setup, would solve all my needs :)

Hey Eric, understandable you're frustrated but the exciting updates for RØDECaster Pro II and Duo are definitely coming.
@@rodemic Exciting! Is what I would say if this wasn't the SAME exact response from last June.
Android needs i-XY...please make i-XY for Android
We appreciate your suggestion! We'll take note of this for our product team for their awareness and consideration :)
Nope, $90 for a magnet
£110!! For that? Having a laugh, surely 😂😂
i need that shirt heen
The turtle necks are a Heen exclusive, sorry
3:06 She says ”solid state drive” or ”ssd” which is just abbreviation. So it’s same thing. 😅
I'm struggling to find your point.
We know its the same thing just covering our bases, as it's one of those terms thats not often said, more often read.
Using “or” is quite a common way of denoting an abbreviation after you’ve stated the full name. It’s shorter than using “also known as” or “AKA”.
@@frankie3041thank god someone said it
The Universal Phone cage is almost half of the price…😂😂😂
Price is three time more then competition, so unless I see this in person, not going for it.
