So I actually took the template link attached below the video, geared a warrior with marauder gear, berserker weapons and trinkets and tried the build myself.
All I can say is that you should really try this build, great fun and easy to play!
Dude this series is perfect.... It gets me thinking about builds, and I'm excited about things I took for granted.

scourge has higher survivability than reaper and still good damage.
@@TiltedDolphin Scourge also has more utility, range, cleanse, and healing/barrier. Reaper kills faster, though.
I'm thinking reaper. There is already plenty of survivability in even Core Necro with shroud. I believe the burst is what he'll value more.
Harbinger's Shroud Power Scourge
I play both a standard Reaper and an adapted fractal healer Scourge.
The reaper has ridiculously fast damage and kill times, the scourge is rather slow but very... easy to play. The amount of facetanking you can do with barrier and lifesteal by just spamming one and shade skills is rather comical.

Welcome back! As a warrior main for pve content, I've been running a very similar build for a few years now and it's fantastic! One thing you may do during group events or world bosses is swap Forceful Greatswords and Might Makes Right for Body Blow and Berserker's Power to help with break bars since you likely won't need the might application and healing.
What sigils?
@@xdearlifex I tend to keep it boring and run Force and Accuracy. You could probably get some good use out of Severance on Mace or sigils of Agility, though.
He's using full berserker armor with assassin's weapons and rune's of the pack btw
Is that how hes getting swiftness when he enters combat?? Rune of the pack??
Most of his weapons are berserkers, there is only the one dagger from the pof achievement that is assassins because the stat selection doesn't have berserkers.

Wooden sure was right with his statement that this build will have no problems, even 2 years after this video. I main Warrior and I've been playing this build for well over a year now, and it is just the most fun class I've ever played in an MMO

In my standard a build should also qualify vs mobs in sandswep Isles on the roof of Western Complex. The awakened mobs + veteran Abomination and Defiler will put some decent conditions and cc on you, also requires you to CC the abomination. If you can solo there for 20 mins or so the endurance of a build vs it's dps is tested well I think. So I'd love to see you include this also. Also I do like you actually include balthazar, you actually had it almost at 50% at which you could jump up and when he performs his spec you can regain your health etc.. Also a good one for melee is to test it on mushroom hp in TD and leggy wyfern in TD as it does quite a bit of burning. But ideal is builds that both have melee and ranged, especially for bounties in solo / duo situations where your range and melee dps and sustain matter. Anyway I get it you don't want to create a solo build here... but maybe juuust a little more endurance ;-) So please include the mobs in sandswept isles! cheers!

Only played a few days and this helped so much for getting my mind set right for warrior also your toon looks cool as hell happier I picked warrior now that I know it can also look that cool as well as play that well! Now to find a guild to teach me the ways haha

Welcome back! Question: as the "proud" owner of a Predator, can you recommend any builds that can use it? Or should I just keep it in my Engineer's backpack to use for Jump Shot in tricky jumping puzzles?
Why do you never show what gear you use? That's like 80% of why the build works as it does. The runes, sigils and stats make it or break it...
The second video in this playlist is a 50 minute video on runes, sigil and stat philosophy for these builds. He says in the video he would be repeating himself over and over so that's why it's its own video
For what it's worth, replacing discipline loses you the faster weapon swap and cleanse, the run speed, and axe ferocity. But taking tactics grants you might on burst, bonus damage for boons, and healing from applying might. You also do extra damage to movement-impaired enemies (or get heals off focus proc), either free cleanse or bonus damage at the start of a fight for your second option, and either heals on shouts or reduced weapon ability cooldown when focus procs. I think it's a strong option if you avoid the warhorn trap, and it makes it easy to replace healing signet for mending with the trait synergy.
I'm gonna personally try the top line of tactics instead of running discipline. I can run mending, so I don't need the shrug it off trait, and no shouts means reducing weapon cooldowns.
EDIT: I didn't consider the adrenaline from traits in discipline. That's a pretty good argument over tactics.
So, I couldn't get this build to be as viable as I'd like it to. So I did discipline, tactics, and spell breaker. Mostly the same but using soldiers focus for additional heals, reduce weapon skills and giving a surplus of might. Opting for a GS Axe axe or mace shield depending on CC needs. Gear was zerker with concentration thrown in. Man, the theory crafting in this game in dope.

Agreed, who needs combat effectiveness when looks matter... In fact my Mad Scientist outfit makes me feel I should have my Scapper run around with an elixir gun
Looks like Barbarian Helm, Sunspear/Spearmarshal Torso, Vigil Shoulder, Dragon Hunter Gauntlet, Bladed or PvP Legs, and phalanx boots.

WP the rework was for the Tactics line, not Arms. The most interesting part of it for PVE at least is a Might Makes Right effect, but for ALL might you generate including to allies - So you can take PS, start shitting might to all allies, and basically also be invulnerable in group/zerg content.

You can see the sigils although he doesn't mention them. Mainhand is always Accuracy and offhand is an axe with force and the offhand dagger is strength.

Professor is a perfect name for WP.
I like the combo of Bulls Charge, giving you Peak Performance, and then whacking the knocked-down enemies with dagger 4 while they are CCd, thus not using any skills. Also, for Spellbreaker I found the Sigil of Severance is quite good in PvE with all the stuns and dazes and what-not.
Try sigil of draining too. it's really good. Severence's extra precision becomes pointless in some builds with already full crit.
for just an open world roaming spellbreaker, I really like Sun and Moon builds. axe/dagger dagger/axe
That balthazar fight is tough as nails on the spellbreaker, you did pretty well all things considered. I beat him with super defensive gear and skills and it took forever, so not worth it in a general solo pve scenario.

Completely agreed on spell breaker, had very little interest in Warrior after trying it multiple times. However, with POF Spell breaker just felt good

How are them now that the big patch has been released?
If you could add in the summary a link to the updated version (traits) it will be amazing. No need of doing the full video again unless you change the build completely and the "old one" is not working anymore..

Just tried this build. Very fun
going tactics over discipline is kinda better healing over all with all that might and everything.
Love the build for solo :) but the tactics healing and Might Makes Right from Arms is far better than Sun and Moon Style while using a dagger (bec of 5sec cd).
That's what i would think about when it comes to playing not solo (meta,farming etc)
Tactics gives you: Mending Might and Phalanx Strength (last two) for healing

As for one year later I do like this build it has high dmg output and is engaging and fun but the heal from the dagger has to be mega nerfed from when you put this up. It does heal but not anywhere as tanky as you suggest it is.

pretty interested in what the ranger build could be, unlike most other classes its clear which playstyle fits this series theme, but ranger not so sure. My guess would be a variant of the boon beast with axes rather than longbow

Dear woodenpotatoes, i'm actually wondering.. you probably know about lord hizen's video with the open world spellbreaker.. i'm torn between, wich one woud be best... sure he does have alot of toughness and gets 4001 power due to that aswell, and maybe he has slightly more survivability... then again he doesn't really have much to break stuns... could it be that ur build is a bit better on like, normall bigger groups like for example 5 harpies flying onto u? and his is a bit better on soloing a champ? or would you say that one of both builds is clearly better...?
I would really love to see your take on a warrior berserker build one day for pve.
what gear are you wearing in the beginning of the video?
That is not how axe mastery works. You get 120 as a baseline, then an additional 120 PER AXE you're wielding. So you can have 120, 240, or 360 ferocity, depending on how many axes you are using. With that build, you get 240 from it.
Does it matter what kind of equipment loadout you use? (Berserker, Soldier, etc. I am returning to the game and trying to understand this)
This is very similar to the spellbreaker build I played alot, before the berserker rework made me love berserker. xD
But now I kinda wanna do this again.

I think he was pretty clear that these wouldn't be spelled out in every build. He's trying to teach us how to make good decisions on gear and builds... Not how to blindly copy a template.
That's one of the things I like about WP... He's trying to help us become smarter players, not just better lemmings.

Class builds and gear sets go hand in hand in "tip" videos. Most people just want to know ALL info just for completeness sake. Better knowing it all now and not coming back later and asking "why does my build not work as well for me"? I get what you're saying though and I always use the build editor to figure it out.
I am using the 1 burst skill, then counter, and its not refilling the first burst skill. Am I doing something wrong?

He doesn't mention gear stats or runes in the video, but judging from his stats he's just running berzerker with some assassins on the weapons as he says. He has no additional health or armor in his stats. As for runes I would recommend something like eagle, to min max on your mega crits and they aren't too expensive.
From what I can see ~8:09 and 11:50-12:30 (or so) it's rune of the pack, and sigil of accuracy and force and?! maybe a strength sigil on one. It's hard to tell what WP is mousing over.
7:00 hardest HOT challenge? I think you are forgetting about mushroom queen in TD.

@@SuperFUNNYKILLER actually it does. If cheesing it makes it easier and cheesing is something anyone can do.... then it's easier. You can't safe spot cheese balth's priest like that
@@SuperFUNNYKILLER you don't need multiple players, only 1 because there is a spot where no attacks hit you.
Similar spots exist for most bosses actually.
@@envytee9659 I almost managed to cheese the balthazar priest from above the encloser but he always seems to randomly break combat and reset about half way through

Where's the gear breakdown for each build? Like how many pieces of "X" gear, with this many pieces of "Y" gear to obtain so and so amount of crit, etc.
