Ever since ep one i've had this weird theory that Sharon is actually a reference to Charon [the boatmen of the dead] and after this episode i feel like Sharon is a witch and her magic comes from necromancy and she had to "die" the be awaken. I love that they have that clip of Faruza Balk in the end credits, name drop The Craft, and then immediately talk about glamours which was an invented specifically for The Craft to talk about someone transforming their image to something different, which was a huge plot point for The Craft. I was obsessed with that stuff as a young queer person not all that different from Teen. I remember doing a rain spell with a friend of mine who got freaked out when it rained for three days starting like 2 hours after doing it. They were freaked, but I wasn't convinced since it was already looking like rain before we started. We did other spells from the same source and nothing happened and that's how we realized it wasn't legit. This show just brings me to all the nostalgia. I really like this show and I am fairly certain the rest of the season is going to kick ass.
I love that the Teen is left to be discovered who he is because we are now guessing if he's Nicholas Scratch (Agatha's son) or Billy (Wanda's son). I'm really hoping it's Billy. Also Billy is adopted by the Kaplan's so that would be why he say's "My parents are asleep".
I'm leaning towards Billy because they established some Billy clues (broke the Scarlet Witch's spell, is gay) (rare enough in the MCU that I say it counts as a clue) but then immediately pushed the Agatha's son option. I have two theories! 1. Teen is Billy aka Wanda’s son from the hex aka Wiccan from the comics. A lot of ppl have speculated this but I have yet to see someone explain how he is Billy. He tells them his parents are 100% asleep (dead?) and he also says his life changed at 13 which would 3 years ago the same time the hex was destroyed by Wanda. I think Wanda’s chaos magic is so strong that it created a sort of essence or souls of her sons that traveled to two boys, one being Teen that we are seeing here. 2. This coven will bring Wanda back to this dimension. Teen says he wants to walk the road bc he needs “power”. I think the road will give him his mother, Wanda, who will then teach him control thus heightening his power. Agatha also wants her power back and I believe Wanda still has it because she is not dead but trapped in the Hell dimension. Wanda is alive which is why Agatha still doesn’t have her powers back. Agatha needs to get Wanda back to this dimension to transfer her power back to Agatha. Plus the title of this series was “Agatha: Coven of Chaos” in 2022 but changed which makes me speculate that this coven will really be Wanda’s. She’s the only one with chaos magic and some kind of way I believe Teen is being guided by his mother to shake Agatha from her spell, assemble a coven of rejects who don’t realize their power and walk the road to help Wanda escape the Hell Dimension. In the comics, Agatha was Wanda’s mentor and helped her a lot. I still can see this happening.
I definitely do think we’re gonna discover that a core part of Agatha’s character is like…as much as she despises working with and relying on others, when she gets serious, she is actually a natural leader and protective person, and that’s an instinct that she’s tried very hard to bury that’s now going to be exposed for better or worse. Not judging Lilia when she has the opportunity to, giving Jen the motivation she needs to save them, trying to protect Teen. At the same time, I love that we’re not losing the part of her that’s just a chaos-loving, self-serving bitch XD It can be hard to strike a balance when you’re trying to show a more sympathetic side to a villainous character, but Jac’s writing combined with Kathryn’s acting make a powerhouse team for it. Jen makes me suspicious, because I think SHE might be suspicious of Teen. Warning him about getting close to Agatha is one thing, but bringing up Mephisto and mentioning that she wonders if Agatha would even recognize her son felt kind of like she was trying to gauge Teen’s reactions. That said tho, I feel like seeing Agatha’s protectiveness towards Teen might have her rethinking what she believes about Agatha sacrificing her son. That’s the story that’s told, but who knows if it’s true? So, Sharon is flashing back to the first episode of WandaVision, where Wanda and Vision hosted Mr and Mrs Hart for dinner, and Mr Hart choked. The words she was saying were what she was thinking while trapped in her mind watching it happen.

Remember the door having moon phases? Teen referred to water, then the house was "drowned". That's why the trial was for Jen because in the Ballad, a Water witch refers to Potions. Now that they entered an Oven, I highly believe it will be Alice's turn (Protection as Fire) AND they are gonna try not to get "burned". Lilia (Divination) is also the Air Witch, which would mean they will be "hanged". Get the pattern? The punishments of the trials are the usual ways of witches being killed. Earth would probably be for buried. I hope they do a resurrection spell for Sharon soon.

If each of the characters is reminiscent of "The Wizard of Oz", then Agatha is definitely The Wizard. The flimflam artist, the snake oil salesman, the man behind the curtain... she hasn't really walked the road, and I suspect she never "traded" for the Darkhold. (but her son may have been taken or lost because she was too focused on it. As for Kathryn Hahn... if there isn't an Emmy nomination for her next year, then I say we unleash the wrath of THE LUPONE upon the committee.
@graphiquejack I'm thinking is this because of Teen. He's not a part of the coven, but he is a witch. She's not a witch, but she's part of the coven and since they're all technically in the same space, it could work. Otherwise, it doesn't make any sense that it worked at all, b/c she's not a witch, not a Hart, and didn't know the lyrics at all.
Someone pointed what if Teen is the one who put those sigil, what if he's just pretending to be naive about it and he's hiding his identity from other witches who may know who he is. Because they did say his identity is being kept from Witch folk so Sharon probably could hear his name which makes sense when the other witches saw the sigil the frame was only on them without Sharon
Seeing how Agatha was paralysed by grief during her hallucination makes me think she didn’t trade her son for the Darkhold. Maybe way before he was born, in a moment of desperation, she made the archetypal deal-with-the-devil/Mephisto that she will owe him her first child in exchange for the Darkhold. And it’s not until much later after he’s born, that the reality of the choice she made is clear. And Rio is the one that took his life/soul. Which is why Agatha hates her. Or maybe her son died, so Agatha searched the Darkhold to resurrect her son, and the violation of nature’s law is what infuriated Rio, to come after Agatha.
Well the trailers show Rio coming out of the ground to join them and the Sharon clips seemed limited in the trailers, so saw this coming. I think more people are dying seeing as Rio says in the trailers “The bodies are really piling up”.
Cheats and shortcuts is Agatha in a nutshell . It’s giving that she did not walk that road ever and instead she made a deal with the marvel devil to sell her son to get the darkhold for the power boost. Why walk the road and make a deal with the devil ? Its one or the other and it seems to be more in character to take the route than ours her in the lease personal danger and in exchange someone else takes the consequences which seems to be more in line with her character . 😅
When they went to the front door and said the phases of the moon. It’s full, water phase. Then in the end the water rushes in. So will each trial have a little clue like that before they begin? Water, earth and air.
Ooop Agatha didn’t use signals in wandavision she used runes. In mcu runes is a higher level of magic that the masters of the mystic arts attributed to high witchcraft . Sigils are a lower tier . 😅funny enough generally in occult practice outside of the mcu sigils are actually a more complex practice and runes are more rudimentary .
‘Teen’ seems to be lying about having parents or what’s going on with his parents because he says different things all the time. When they were in the food court to recruit Alice, he said his mother died, but on the road he said his parents were ‘probably asleep’. He also said his dad has a sous vide, as if he was still alive, maybe. So I’m confused. Maybe he has no memory of his parents and is not keeping track of all the lies he’s saying to cover that up.

@graphiquejack I'm thinking is this because of Teen. He's not a part of the coven, but he is a witch. She's not a witch, but she's part of the coven and since they're all technically in the same space, it could work. Otherwise, it doesn't make any sense that it worked at all, b/c she's not a witch, not a Hart, and didn't know the lyrics at all.

Someone pointed what if Teen is the one who put those sigil, what if he's just pretending to be naive about it and he's hiding his identity from other witches who may know who he is. Because they did say his identity is being kept from Witch folk so Sharon probably could hear his name which makes sense when the other witches saw the sigil the frame was only on them without Sharon

Seeing how Agatha was paralysed by grief during her hallucination makes me think she didn’t trade her son for the Darkhold.
Maybe way before he was born, in a moment of desperation, she made the archetypal deal-with-the-devil/Mephisto that she will owe him her first child in exchange for the Darkhold. And it’s not until much later after he’s born, that the reality of the choice she made is clear. And Rio is the one that took his life/soul. Which is why Agatha hates her.
Or maybe her son died, so Agatha searched the Darkhold to resurrect her son, and the violation of nature’s law is what infuriated Rio, to come after Agatha.

It’s giving that she did not walk that road ever and instead she made a deal with the marvel devil to sell her son to get the darkhold for the power boost. Why walk the road and make a deal with the devil ? Its one or the other and it seems to be more in character to take the route than ours her in the lease personal danger and in exchange someone else takes the consequences which seems to be more in line with her character . 😅

Ooop Agatha didn’t use signals in wandavision she used runes. In mcu runes is a higher level of magic that the masters of the mystic arts attributed to high witchcraft . Sigils are a lower tier . 😅funny enough generally in occult practice outside of the mcu sigils are actually a more complex practice and runes are more rudimentary .

‘Teen’ seems to be lying about having parents or what’s going on with his parents because he says different things all the time. When they were in the food court to recruit Alice, he said his mother died, but on the road he said his parents were ‘probably asleep’. He also said his dad has a sous vide, as if he was still alive, maybe. So I’m confused. Maybe he has no memory of his parents and is not keeping track of all the lies he’s saying to cover that up.
Teen didn’t say his mother died, he said his mother went to Alice’s mother’s last concert before Alice’s mother died.
