Hello everyone 👋 I'm experimenting with something new - a full game in the one video! I recorded this over a week or so and it's such a fun game but VERY frustrating as well 😅 TH-cam saves where you left off in a video, so you can watch this over several days or however long it takes! I hope you enjoy the game and all of my frustrations 🤭
Love the contrast between the two thumbnails of you on the left vs the right… the left seems all happy and excited and the right seems like “if I have to do this jump one more time!!”
Seeing someone who doesn't know a thing about how Crash Bandicoot games work try it out for the first time is really cool. Makes you realise how much this is a "learn by doing" game. They don't explain how all the mechanics work, they just throw you in and let you figure it all out bit by bit.
Very funny and entertaining playthrough with all of the rage after the optimistic start. These classic old games were definitely harder than they seem at first glance, and at times very frustrating when playing them as a kid. Thanks for the nostalgia.
So awesome to see Crash Bandicoot grace the channel alongside Spyro! While the first game is relatively unforgiving, I can one hundred percent assure you that the sequels aren't as brutal thankfully, so it'd be great to see a continuation Still holding out hope for Jak and Daxter someday, as it was Naughty Dog's second IP after Crash, in addition to that, you've delved into both Uncharted and The Last of Us before, so it'd be stellar to see another compelling, intrigue of a story like Jak and Daxter Overall, happy to see platformers reign supreme, never stop doing them! :)
Oh thank goodness the sequels aren't as brutal! I wouldn't mind giving them a go. I had a lot of fun with this game, even if it gave me even more grey hairs 🤣
@xJuliettex Yeah, the first game was definitely a showcase of what could've been improved upon, the sequels saw MAJOR refinements, you'd definitely love them! Definitely would be interested to see Cortex Strikes Back and Warped whenever from one of the best female TH-camrs 😊

This remake has some very slippery controls and hit boxes compared to og version so for a newbie you did fine, don't feel bad 👋 it's also the hardest one of the trilogy, the sequels have more balanced difficulty and more variety between levels.🐨
Hey Juliette, if you're reading this then this is kind of important. When I was watching the first minutes of your playthrough, getting flustered about missing some boxes, there's some that you didn't know or neglected because they were there the whole time or you've forgotten them. For example (this is my favorite), In N. Sanity Beach, when you already missed 10 boxes. You were in the path on the right and didn't know you can jump to break the transparent boxes when they're revealed by hitting on the gray box with the exclamation point. Figures why you literally missed 10 boxes 😂. But don't worry, it adds a bit of humor charm, and character flaw, which is fine and it's okay to miss something even you finish the whole core of the game already. Also, you're delightful, even at platforms. Alright, have a great day! ❤😺

Theres a level you didnt play called Stormy Ascent. Its a free DLC level that was cut from the original Crash Bandicoot for PS1 cos it was too difficult. Its harder than every single level you've played here

LOL I'm just about a quarter way in and I already love how you've called the wumpa fruits apple-mangoes. Four hours to go. Native Fortress and Ripper Roo looked like the breaking point. It wasn't you, Crash is NOT Spyro. It is insane. You almost have to be two steps ahead of its buffonery. It was maddening as a kid. That being said, I'm going to assume Crash 2 is off the table? Little Spyro 2 to make up for this rampage? 🤣

LOL honestly I had so much empathy. 7 year old me almost swore off gaming because of Crash. Kudos, even thrugh the seething fury, you got it done. Dr. Cortex can eat it.
Amazing playthrough, I'm near the hour mark in the "hog wild struggling section" and reminded me that the original game doesn't save the amount of boxes after dying, even if you reach any checkpoint so I'm glad you picked this version 😅, looking forward if you decide to keep with the other 2 games... reasonable to take your time in that case after such difficulty curve 😅
This is so exciting! Crash Bandicoot was my #1 favourite game series as a kid! Even though I don't have time to watch all of this now, I do prefer longer videos like this. And remember, this remake had issues with collision detection so if you lose a life, it's okay to blame the game. :P

Juliette! 💜 Like you, my only experience with this game has been Uncharted 4, in Elena and Nate’s living room. I am already intrigued by the differences which are being thrown at you in this play through. It is absolutely wonderful to see you laugh and giggle, as you have done so far in this game. 😂 It obviously brings back a style of playing very reminiscent of the era - pop up tutorial blurbs, no real explanation of how some things work - a total play, replay again, and learn experience. This is a lot of fun, just being an observer - you continue to impress with your channel choices. 😉 I look for great things in this one, so far I am definitely very entertained, and, as I implied earlier, it’s grand fun, watching you have fun! How little did I know before beginning that it is nothing like Spyro, and pretty much a trip to the doctor for medication in game format 🤣 I am really proud to get to the end as it wasn't an easy feat. I think Spyro was a walk in the park compared to this! So I might head back in for more of that and say goodbye to Crash for now 🤭 I am curious how this video performs, to be honest! The first video in a series often does well, then the views taper off and dwindle away. I figure that this format allows people to watch as much/little as they want, when they want. A few might be put off by the length but maybe they wouldn't have watched it anyway even if it was an hour long, and just want to say hello. I'm not sure it will work, but it's worth a try! I hope you enjoy, and take your time. It will always be here to dip in and out of whenever you like 💜 be well, take care, and look after your wonderful self 🥰
Nice. I love this game. Used to play it back in the 90's, but only recently got into it again after having been forced to give up on another old time favourite, 'Sonic Mania Plus'. Although I could do it back in the 90's, I tried over a 100 times and couldn't get past an annoying underwater part in literally the 3rd level. ugh
This Crash Bandicoot game looks awesome, Juliette 💜 it's fun and I know you will keep it up until you've reached its ending 💯 it's nice to see you've uploaded, it's kind of a while though 😊 have a shining day and looking forward to your next videos.
On specific levels you can get to the coloured transparent gems by completing the level without having died in the level.. they make solid the coloured transparent on other levels and let you get to boxes etc. TNT must be blown up for the box count. Jump on them. Barred crates with Wumpa fruit need to be jumped on not spun. 3:05:24 only took until here 😅 Steel are not counted and can’t do anything with them ever. The plain transparent gems are found at the end when you meet the box count.
Wow. This was the first game I ever played. I had it originally on my Playstation 1. Now I know I'm getting old. The tiki head is named aku aku he's crashs mentor or guide
Good job getting through this. I can get overthinking some of the jumping bits and all that and don't feel bad not getting 100% because that took me a long time to do (and much frustration). Crash 1 had a lot of hard levels, but if you continue them Crash 2 and 3 get easier at least.
@ it took a long time and a guide. The remaster made it kind of easier. The original release you couldn’t earn gems if you died in a level. That was brutal beyond belief.

I never really got into crash when it originally came out. I bought it on the PS4 and realised why, but also my adult reflexes wanted nothing to do with playing platformers, although I will admit it can be a little fun

Ah the "Darksouls of platformers" as the media called it (No really!) Are you planning on playing all three games? And have you any thoughts about Crash 4? (But seriously Crash 4 is like Crash 1 on steroids much as it's fun I can't recommended it as the difficulty is honestly just insane near the end)

Ah the "Darksouls of platformers" as the media called it (No really!) Are you planning on playing all three games? And have you any thoughts about Crash 4? (But seriously Crash 4 is like Crash 1 on steroids much as it's fun I can't recommended it as the difficulty is honestly just insane near the end)

@ the silver crystal is called Gems there’s speed runs challenges is well you have to get a platinum or gold relic to pass
