The 2nd Conference of secretaries of primary committees of the Workers' Party of Korea was held in Pyongyang from February 26 to 28, 2022.

@@adonis7626 I really like Che Guevara both in his ideology and actions, but Fidel I mostly uphold in his anti imperialism and for being a progressive force in Cuba. Cuban socialism was always quite flawed and even that has developed for the worse since then. Since Fidel died private property has been legalized and they are open about following China, Vietnam and Laos through the Social and Economic Development Plan, so capitalist restoration has been accelerated in Cuba.

@@adonis7626 It's not private property in that sense. You can't own the means of production in the DPRK privately. But even apart from that, revisionism has unfortunately taken over in Cuba as well as China, Vietnam and Laos.

The WPK came to be through a merger of the Communist Party and the New Democratic Party, both of which were communist parties.

Also, keep in mind that social democracy as a term was actually socialist once upon a time before it was hijacked and became what we know it as today. Lenin and Stalin were both social democrats at one point, but it had a different meaning then.
