Playa El Palmar in Ixtapa Zihuatanejo: Walking the Entire Beach

I watched the entire Playa El Palmar beach in Ixtapa recently. I don't know if I had ever walked the entire beach. If I did it's been at least 8 or 9 years! Great beach! We finished off the walk with breakfast at The General's new location in Centro Ixtapa.

I see that the waters are higher than normal when you shot your video.
I love Playa El Palmar. We usually stay at the Holiday Inn when we are there.
Walk towards Pacifica Resort in the morning then towards the Marina in the afternoon.
We will be coming to Ixtapa in 5 weeks.
Hope we can run into you both, while we are there.
We will be there for 1 month and will be staying at the Holiday Inn again.

Is this still a good destination for a vacation ? Heard possibly less tourists going there . Are there still alot of restaurants to go to ?
