- Let's Play The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time with @ZeldaMaster and @Zeltik ! Join us as we revisit our first adventure ever, in the first 3D version of the Kingdom of Hyrule. This is the game that started it all for us, and the one that splits the Zelda Timeline!
In this one we take on the Forest Temple! What seems to be Luke's toughest Temple? After painstakingly defeating the Poe Sisters and obtaining the Fairy's Bow, Link slays Phantom Ganon and awakens Saria as a Sage!

I see the zeldudes finished their personal playthroughs of Echoes of Wisdom and now have time to return to the goat. Or the GOoT.
I love when Zeltik talks about the lore of these dungeons.
Ocarina of Time's Forest Temple has to be one of my favorite (if not, then my no.1) dungeons in the entire franchise, from the twisted hallways, graffiti covered sewers, rotating floor before the boss, and the music, it's just a vibe that's most dungeons in Zelda struggle to compete with.
same i really enjoyed forest temple, but my favorite has to be snowpeak ruins on tp, they both have the same vibe to me but i just liked snowpeak more
And I forgot to mention the checkered room and how much I love areas that mix urban landscapes with nature. There is a park near the middle/high school I went to during those years that had a corridor lead by several flights of stairs with an overgrowth of vines and leaves. Another thing I think about is the Doom 2 WAD "The Mucus Flow" with its ruins, grassy floor and its own composed etherial soundtrack. Considering I was even a fan of Zelda as an elementary student, OoT's forest temple is probably what started my fixation on locations like that to begin with.
8:56 - I think it has more to do with proportions. When you’re say, 5, a year is a fifth of your life, but when you’re 50, a year is a _fiftieth_ of your life, ie it’s proportionally the same as about five _weeks_ was to you at 5. That’s why when you’re a kid, a year drags on, but when you’re an adult, before you know it another birthday has flown past.

I hope the next Temple is any other than the Fire Temple. I had no idea you could sequence break the game! All of those play-throughs as a kid, and I always did it in the canonical pattern. Great content, dudes!

Forest Temple is definitely my favorite dungeon in Ocarina of Time, with Water Temple a close second.

Forest Temple is definitely my favorite Zelda dungeon. The music is awesome and the atmosphere reminds me of Dark Souls. Such a great dungeon.

At last! The Forest Temple! It's my favorite temple in the game, it's absolutely gorgeous looking, the odd 'Alice in Wonderland' segments were brilliant!
Moblins are invincible while in their charge that's why your sword strikes don't work
Phantom Ganon does have a stronger purple energy ball type attack just like in the Ganondorf battle. You are both correct! Also, I can't wait for another video. Thanks guys
You could get all the water temple skulltulas, but there is a key you need the bow for, so you couldn’t complete it.

47:27 All Poes are programmed to turn invisible once they are Z-Targeted. The Poe Sisters in particular are also programmed to auto attack you immediately, if you are within range and line of sight, in order to force you to use the bow. The times ZM actually landed his attacks, each of the Poe Sisters had their backs turned after spinning past him, rather than him blocking it with his shield, and therefore had a longer window of opportunity for him to attack them as they had to then turn around for him to be in line of sight again.
Weirdly enough, Deku Nuts makes them appear, but not regular Poes.
I love the Forest Temple. I hope they remaster this game for the Switch successor.

I view this channel as a side project “for fun” thing for both of them so I don’t want to hold them to a strict schedule. I’m fine with them releasing episodes at their own pace whenever they want to record. Not to mention the break this time was for obvious reasons.
Came here to say the same thing. I thought this series was over because they take SO long between episodes
1:20 I'm not sure about getting all the skulltulas, but there is no set order to the dungeons, even though the game pushes you to do Forest Temple first. The only requirements are to complete the Forest Temple before the Spirit Temple and to complete any three temples before the Shadow Temple.
I don't know about the water temple, but I do know it's possible to do the Spirit Temple before the Shadow Temple, as I've done it several times before.

I always thought that Link like others was the child of a knightly household. So his dad died in the civil war and his mum in fear fled.

Water temple has a small key which was locked behind the bow
I personally find that playing Zelda Ocarina of Time is best done on a Gamecube controller. I have the Zelda collectors edition for the Gamecube.

You can completely do the water temple without the bow unless there’s a puzzle that I’m forgetting about it’s just a lot harder so what I usually do because I don’t like the forest temple and like the water temple is get the bow leave the forest temple complete the water temple then finish up the forest temple

No you couldn't complete the water temple without the bow and i tried it and as soon as you get the long shot you have shoot an eye to get a chest with a key in it
It's possible but it requires some very precise jumping
