Good tips, and I agree on most of them. Unfortunately here in Norway tailoring is very expensive, especially if you want to use a reliable and good tailor, So it is much better to buy a suit that has a big discount and use the rest of the money on tailoring. There are always discounts on suits and blazers, so it is in my opinion not very smart to buy this at full price.
@@stianschlssermller2886 Fair point! One thing you could do is get a custom suit at suit supply - they take all your measurements and the prices are the same worldwide. That being said, if you are close enough to a standard measurement (as I am, 48 fits me almost perfectly), getting an off the rack suit and getting it tailored is the perfect option!
@@theotht It’s great for the summer. Especially if it’s from a breathable fabric such as linen or a linen blend. If you don’t feel comfortable wearing a suit and tie on various non-formal occasions, you can always pair it with a linen shirt, a polo or other more casual options :)
@@samykingson5427Yep, that’s because the table I sit at is very high up so I have to hunch. Generally speaking, suits won’t line up perfectly when sitting down anyways

Why not horn buttons? Mother of pearl's are typically used in shirting, not regular suits.

The collar gap of your suit is not perfect. The gap between shirt and suit collar should be not visible.
