That’s true, they were part of the working class, but they were also worn in large part by the youth (therefore the names “Newsboy/Bakerboy”. So I see no reason we shouldn’t think they were worn by students as well, especially in their past times

The lifestyle part is definitely not for everyone. I’ve found that the decor part (lights, music and scent) help me better focus on my work during the fall seasons. And some of the hobbies (piano, poetry, reading) are simply activities I enjoy doing, so I thoughht I’d share them with everyone. Glad you enjoyed the style part :)

@@ElessarFreyI guess you make a good point. While I would not recommend making the chino the centerpiece of your Dark Academia wardrobe, wearing them every now and then as a more casual piece wouldn’t necessarily be inaccurate. That being said, I would still go for trousers more often than not.

You seem to have lots of anger for no reason. Even if I don't like fast fashion and barely buy 3 clothes per year, I am not as judgemtal as you. You can wear what you want, so do I. All I am saying is that I find it not only boring but also superficial to go around judging everybody that is not wearing "classic gentleman style" 24/7.

@@137Furon I think you can be stylish regardless of your body type. Of course, clothes will look better on you if you are in good shape, but you can be stylish nevertheless. Check out @thebigsartorialist on Instagram, a very stylish gentleman. As for my view on being stylish, I am merely basing my statements on the definition of the word, namely something “fashionably elegant”. If an outfit is not elegant, it can not be stylish, no matter how fashionable it might be. Have a great day!

Thank you kindly for the ideas! I do have a video on “all the shoe pairs you will ever need”. You can check that out. I also have a video on sweaters and one ranking old money brands. I can definitely do something on sunglassed and other accessories, that’s a great idea. Also, I plan on doing a more comprehensive buying guide/brand ranking video with 20-30+ brands in the future, so stay tuned! As for the romanian brands part, I sadly cannot fulfill that one as I never buy locally. If you have any recommendations, I’d love to hear them and I’ll check them out!

@@Gentlemens-Order i have experienced with a Romanian Necktie brand , the urban tie, if you want some high quality tie with good fabric for differennt seasons and interesting patterns, you should give them a try . i dont know other brands in Romania

drinks date , dinner feel so uncomfortable for first date and other idea would be better for second date

I’m 22 and I’d like to add some items to my wardrobe so that I can elevate my outfits. Currently, I feel my style is the smart casual or even business casual sometimes. In that case, would you recommend me buying some loafers? If so, what type(s) and brand(s)? Thanks!

⁠@@gabrielcamachocastillo8758Hey Gabriel, Both Penny and Tassel loafers are, in my opinion, must-haves for any self-respecting gentleman, regardless of age. I personally prefer tassel loafers, but either those, penny or bit loafers will work great - it’s purely a matter of preference. Since the loafer is a summery shoe, I typically prefer to get mine from local shoe manufacturers in Italy (found some very nice and affordable ones at a store called Otisopse this summer in Florence), but if that’s not an option, some shoe brands I would generally recommend are Loake, Scarosso, or TLB Mallorca. These all sell shoes for 200€+. If you want some more affordable loafers check out Otisopse (I spent about 120€ a pair). And 22 is definitely not too young to wear loafers - I am 24 myself :) Cheers!
