this seems to be a budget version of the kafmasino one, which has a lot of smart features in the machine. potentially able to add a gagguino kit onto it to gain back some of those features
Hi, Did you Use the regular "Turin's" basket or precision Basket (Pesado, IMS, etc)?
Informative video, Hoon. Are you using the 22g basket that came with the Normcore bottomless portafilter? I noticed that you are using 18g. Thanks.
Best feature over Breville Express or Pro is the e61 group head, imo. And of course the price. Hoon, what material is the boiler made of?
stainless steel
I wonder if you could retrofit a better OPV to lower, and adjust the brew pressure to 9 bars if you so choose? The brew pressure seems to be the only issue that you don't like.
you like clear dose cup better than comes with metal one?
So this is the CRM3007L and the pre infusion is still not good. Hope they release a version witht the preinfusion fixed. otherwise this is still a good alternative machine. Its affordable with lots of features.
@HoonsCoffee This has very similar in features and price to the Crossland CC1. Doing a head to head between the Turin and the CC1 would be very interesting.
This machine looks great!
This reminds me of the lelit
I believe the Breville Pro is still the best budget option. You get so much more and even more aftermarket options. Are parts hard to find?
I think the bambino plus with a good grinder like the baratza encore is better than the barista pro
Does it have an adjustable OPV?
There’s a screw hidden above the pressure gauge that gives limited control on pressure
