റിയൽ മ്യൂസിഷ്യൻ , അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ സംസാരങ്ങൾ എത്ര ആഴമുള്ളതാണ്. നമ്മുടെ ഭൂരിപക്ഷം പാട്ടുകാരും, മ്യൂസിഷ്യന്മാരുമൊക്കെ പലപ്പോഴും സംസാരിക്കാൻ തുടങ്ങുമ്പോഴേ ദൈവവും, ആല്മീയതയും, ആരാധനയും, വിശ്വാസവുമൊക്കെയായി വഴിത്തിരിഞ്ഞു ബോറിങ്ങായി പോകും. സംഗീതവിഷയം പോകുകയും ചെയ്യും. ഒരുപക്ഷെ കലാകാരന്മാരിൽ മ്യൂസിഷ്യന്മാർക്കാണീ സ്വഭാവം കൂടുതൽ. അതിൽ നിന്നും വ്യെത്യസ്തനാണ്‌ ബിജിബാൽ എന്ന മ്യൂസിഷ്യൻ. ഈ സംഭഷണം ഒറ്റയിരുപ്പിൽ കേട്ടിരിക്കാൻ തോന്നുന്നതും അതുകൊണ്ടാണ്. വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും കേള്കണ്ടതായുണ്ട്. ഇത്.
Nice interview & as a passionate music lover agree with most of his comments. My only disappointment is that he never mentioned our Babukka ( M. S. Baburaj) despite mentioning one of his memorable bhajans & the lbeautiful lyrics of bhaskaran master. It's all the more surprising as he redid the eternally melodious compositions of Babukka in Aashiq Abu's "Neela Velicham". Having mentioned all the contemporary composers of Baburaj, he should not have omitted only our dear Babukka. Please convey my remarks to him if you can.
this chap... does he even know whether carnatic music is conversing with world music? I don't think so... and this hareesh sivaramakrishnan guy is just horrible... but pupular... thats how things are... Let him start composing Carnatic Music his pet communist subjects and songs.. and this intervieer lady is self styled 'professor in music'
@@jensihamol454 one need not be a sanghi to write wat ive written. a good musical exposure and pedigree (which am sure that i have) will suffice. but to write something like you it surely requires to belong to rice-bag clan (palpodi + soochi gothambu + oshana = kurishu (➕)
