@@Doctormix Is there a critical risk of this C64 Synth becoming an Arduino project or drifting into something like an 8-bit hybrid _Zynthian_ minimum viable product? Has the user journey been rigorously specified? When is your next scrum standup with the focus group? This project could probably benefit from the use of JIRA or some other, lesser case tracker. and also some _lasers_ .
We stand together in the intersection of a lovely TH-cam venn diagram. All's I'd need is Martin from Wintergatan to swing by with a modulin and I'd completely lose it.
Seeing the c64 being used still today is fantastic and really well done circuit bending, C64 sends me back to a simpler time, makes me feel warm inside
We are absolutely crying seeing this show with Look Mom and 8bit.... ammmmazing feeling!!! Keep on rockin! And keep stick together people!!!! Many thanks!!!!
As an original owner of Commodore machines ( Vic-20 , C-64 & Amiga ) , i would like to say that this is AWESOME guys and Well Done keeping these amazing sound chip alive 👌🎼😎
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOCOOOOOOOOOOOOL two of my favorite channels working on my favorite 8 bit computer. You are giving me so much ideas for my own DIY analog/digital synthesizer. Thanks.
Dr Mix, dude! Thank you for the inspiration. You are my new music mentor. I hack at guitar...and love it. I have refound my voice after losing it a year ago. I had in storage two Microcorg synthesizers...now brought out to bring to life. These as I recall had a vocator attachment. I haven't found it yet? But I was thinking the technology has changed I'm sure over the years and the one you use in the 10 top vocator songs on your youtube video would I'm sure be a path toward success...for FUN. I will go through your video material to formulate questions to guide me following your lead. I like your free approach to music.
@@ronnetgrazer362 I like the early 80's with Thomas Dolby an artist who was just there for those who wanted to hear it. And certainly the Commodore 64. What a breakthrough that thing has caused.
What a video! Loved every bit of this.... 2 of my best youtubers! Respect to look mom no computer I’ve been a subscriber of his for a long time now very talented human being with great happy energy;) same goes for doctor mix love all your videos 👌🏼
This guy is great, such a fantastic retro geek, he has no right even to know what C64 is being so young! I hope he can actually make some money out of that, not just 24/7 hobby!
Completely crazy, surely a Behringer Synth would have been about 300% less than the cost of obtaining all the gear to get it going but hey, the point is, it can be done and why not? Such fun!!!!
Great work, guys!
Thanks man! 🤟❤️ And thanks for being a part of this :-)
This is...like a frakking avengers movie but with with our youtube heroes!!!

I wonder how long the 8-Bit Guy could have tolerated either (or both!) of these ADD Duracell bunnies in a live co-op :)
@@kke lol.. not very well i dare say
Was a very fun day! And needless to say we have a long way to go!
It was great time man! I can’t wait for your controller ;-)
What's the safety pin for? Are you a rebel or some shit?
What a great cooperation!

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 love it.
Best collaboration ever. I've been watching both of you separately for a long time. Love seeing this madness.
This crossover makes the short dry spell all worth it. This Commodore series is really becoming a blast!
The finished bespoke device is more heavily anticipated than the 2nd coming of the.... messiah.
I'm becoming really quite impatient to see / hear it.
"you trully are a mad scientist"
personaly I would call him more of a mad engineer
2 of my favorite TH-camrs coming together
Awesome
Metoo, both really talented guys :)
Oh, my!
that feel when Claudio plays on comp keyboard better than you on regular one
In Germany this Company is sometimes called "Brüll & Klirr", means "Roar & Glass Shatter"... :)
One of the best crossovers ever
I’m a less-than-novice synth guy but I love the tech behind it and Doctor Mix has become one of my favorite channels.

Happy to see the C64 finding a new life in 2019 as a synth! I had one of those and that 128 as well.
Oh man, Doctor Mix, LMNC and The 8bit Guy in one episode? YES!!
This dude looks like Thomas Dolby when he was 20, he's also blinded by science!!
Also, the "don't hug me I'm scared" kid.

Fantastic. Thanks so much for sharing this. Looking forward to the next parts (plural)!
A multi-cartridge adapter allows the SIDcart, MIDI adapter, and Cynthcart to all be used at the same time
You should urgenty put some heatsink on the VIC2, especially after removing the original metal lid!
...and add heatsinks on PLA, CPU and SIDs
22:25 Your playing skill on C64-Keyboard is amazing Claudio, respect! ;-)
so much energy and genius I need a Xanax!
There hasn't been a collaboration so impactful between Italy and Britain since Hadrian's Wall
For nerds. By nerds.
Keep it up boys, quality content.
I love how you two just click, such nice vibes

Just started making electronic music, and these guys are awesome and got great ideas...
OMG....two of my favorite guys meet in one video together and collab!!
That's awesome. I love the sound out of that. It would be handy with some chip tune techno.
Great work guys. Love it!
Wow guys, I'm trying to get my head around all this! You two and 8-Bit Guy need to form a collaboration and do a combined channel.
